A great classic Jinjer song is Outlander. The most popular video for it (both in total views and from what I see in comments) seems to be the one uploaded by Failure .Color with video from Best Ukrainian Metal and studio sound. Jinjer songs don't grow on you - after getting repeatedly beaten up by her growls and gently caressed by her cleans, eventually stockholm syndrome sets in - their music is like "soon you will learn to appreciate me." I'm sure if I locked myself in my bedroom with "A Plus Or A Minus" for the weekend, by Monday, I'd be like "Puddin!"

I didn't really care for +/- at first, but now I love it. At some point something just clicked and it reminded me of the old thrashy days of Metallica with songs like Battery and Fight Fire With Fire and after that it just really spoke to me I guess.

This is definitely one of my favourite songs from Macro. Nice head banger. I won't hate if you don't love it haha. They are from Ukraine and the first part of the song is sang in Russian. This is a personal song for them. Here is a post they made on FB when they released the video:
Retrospection is one of the most personal songs we have ever written. Being a full time touring musician, spending most of the time on the road … of course we are making our biggest dream come true and living each day to the fullest, but nobody mentions that there is a dark side. We do not see people who devoted themselves to us entirely, who gave us everything they had and more… We miss them and they miss us in return, and yet we should call them more often… much more often than we do.
I am talking about our parents.
For most of the JINJERs, our parents are separated from us not only by distance, but also by war and politics. We don’t have an opportunity to visit our parents even when we are in Ukraine. And it feels like they are on the other side of the planet even if we are literally only 800 km away. The worst thing is that, now being in our 30s, year after year, it feels like the storm clouds are gathering above. We all know that the day will come when we will feel alone all of a sudden… and we will lose them. The people, but for whom, we’d never make it. The bitter taste of understanding this is almost unbearable.
We look at this song as an anthem to the ones who raised us, who sacrificed everything for the sake of our happiness no matter what the costs, even despite our own thankless and ingratitude towards them. The people who showed us that the purest love ever does exist - the love of the father and mother for their children. Thank you.

Don’t worry about “not liking it as much”. It’s hard to like every song when a band sets the bar sooooo high with some of their work. At first listen to their new album it took me a few tries of listening before it really started to grow on me, Retrospection being my favourite. This is the first album with just the three current members only. It’s a new path for them. Do give it some more listens and I’m sure you will like it.

They are from Ukraine, the first part of the song is in Russian. They have one other song in Russian: Желаю Значит Получу, which is completely in Russian, very metalcore, very aggressive, very good.
I find a lot of times Jinjer songs are a bit of an acquired taste, especially on this album since it's much less melodic and more technical. I never dislike a Jinjer song when I hear it first, but a lot of them just leave me unsure, but the more I listen to them the more familiar I get with them and the more I like them. At some point you find a part of the song that stands out to you and when you notice it it completely changes your perspective on the song.
The best description of what this song is about is what Tatiana said about it on Instagram:
"Retrospection is one of the most personal songs we have ever written. Jinjer's newest album imo is what you listen to if you want to appreciate the band's talent. If you're looking to jam to Jinjer songs, the other songs before this new album are more appropriate. That's at least how I feel about it at the moment. Sometimes when I just want to relax and listen to quality metal is when I play this newer stuff, but I don't listen to it to hype me up when I'm maybe doing something else like working out. When I do that it just feels annoying cause of how technical it is, so I'd rather listen to less technical but more "jumpy" metal. That's my take on this song too. It's such an amazing track if I'm focusing on just the song, but I wouldn't want it playing in the background when I'm doing something else or when I need hyping up. That's also why I get you not liking the song as much. At the end of the day, you're sitting in front of the camera looking to jam to some good music.

The greatness of the album Macro is that it has a lot of relistenabilty, and songs that I wasn't totally sold on from my first listen have now become some of my favorites. It is a very techy(?) album. Home Back is one of favs, it has a fairly great blegh in it.

"Don't hate me for it..." dude, don't ever apologize to people for your tastes or opinions. You didn't dig it compared to their other stuff. That's what's known as an "opinion" and as far as I know, we're all entitled to them. I hate the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings series' with a passion. That may put me in the minority, but that doesn't mean I go out and say "don't hate me for this..." to preface that I'm about to drop my opinion on the matter. I, frankly, couldn't care less what someone says, whether friend, acquaintance, or perfect stranger. It's my opinion, I'm entitled to it, eat me! I guess it's what makes me, me, so I just own it!
