- With Tennocon 2019 going on right now, I wanted to release a tribute to Keith Power's themes and a gift to the wonderful people at Digital Extremes. Thank you for making and evolving one of my all time favorite games. Hopefully next year I can actually go... hehe. Tenno are called Traitors by the Corpus, this makes the orchestration called Traitor's Requiem.

The corpus are the descendants of the Orokin, their name, corpus, literally translates to family from orokin to English. The Tenno are traitors, but it needed to be done

This score sounds easily like it would fit as a normal background OST for the Duviri Paradox, just walking around. It’s like the Minecraft track. Traveling the world, seeing the sights, sunbeams shining in your face, grass swaying in the calm wind. Descending down into the depths and exploring the ruins, learning something about your past, that sort of stuff.
@@cielweiss8288 this is more cinematic music, its too dramatic for casual game play. This music screams, arrival/reveal/farewell.
Trevaugn Martin I’d say the first half or so of the track would be good for background exploration OST, and the latter half would be a great cinematic score.

I'm just now coming across this. This is beautiful.
I like to imagine that our frame fell into the rift with us when Ballas stabbed us. Because of it's connection to us via our void powers calming it, being directly exposed to the void on the other side of the rift causes the frame to become sentient, and return to a sane state. Through this, they return to the real world and hunt for another way to reach us, because they're losing control of themselves due to the strain that currently has a hold on their body. I like to think that this song plays during a scene where, after an intense internal struggle, the frame opens a portal to the void, and out comes the drifter in our place, who takes the battered and no longer sentient frame. The Drifter is able to feel the emotions of the frame on contact(via the void within them), and can sense the desire of it to save it's operator, and by proxy, the universe as a whole. Then, the story continues as seen in game.
In short, you're a pretty good artist, Rush. Nice job.
What a genuinely interesting avenue the story could have taken.👏

It seems DE is addressing some of the games major problems which is fantastic, at least come back and play the new war in December and let that speak for itself.
@SHDWLmao what? 50 million registered, 20k players active during the day, 50k active online at night during peak hours everyday , on the Top 10 most played games on steam of the year ... If you're gonna hate atleast do some research so you don't sound like an idiot. There's lots of things to criticize it for, but the player base is huge and alive. ( has more players than destiny and Anthem lmao )

Aw man. I love Warframe. The only thing I hate it about it is that I'll never be able to play the War Within or Sacrifice quests for the first time again. Those narratives, the music, all of it was so well done in my eyes.
I think your Requiem captures the melancholic backdrop and sheer scale of the game wonderfully. Excellent work, Rush.
