Thanks 👊 haha, you're probably right! Even with all the new wheels though, nothing tempts yet. I'm a very picky man...what is it they say, "you just haven't met the right wheel" 😉
@@vanturion something will come along... Admittedly the smaller wheel with no suspension is fun to watch since it's manouverable and twitchy, in a good way. Plus we get to see you get more beat up.
I really enjoy your content and your desire of single track it is inspiring and you find some incredible tracks this one is probably one of my favorites I've seen you do so far. A few questions that is the rs right? I like how wide that tire is but I'm sure a nobby be better for what you do. Also doesn't your knees take a shit kicking? Ps sand at 12 kph was kind enough to separate my shoulder a month ago... falling on a euc is rolling the dice, I've fallen and laughed and I've also Fallin and cried 😢
Right on, you said it! This was one of my favorites from the trip too. Right again, the K66 hybrid tire was a compromise and after mounting that sucker I want to do tire swaps as little as possible, preferably never! I do urban riding too which was the main reason for the hybrid, they just never made the cut as the content was less interesting with the chin-mount cam before I switched to selfie. Yeah, knees started to take a cumulative beating, even skipping fun looking jumps and bumps as I tend to do. I found my wheelin' limits on this trip for sure, but there are a couple advantages to a less than ideal tread and non-suspension too. It keeps the ride more dynamic when you can't just straight-line roll over obstacles, and it tends to keep your average speed a little lower which, IMO, can make for easier wrecks when they inevitably happen. But bad things can happen at any speed as you say (ouch). Always looking out for sand, the enemy! I just hope the ol' knees hold up and I can keep making videos for a while because I like everything as is right now.
Exselent video!
Way to represent Minnesota!
Thanks, great place, hope to visit with my wheel again someday!
Awesome, so good to see some quality trail riding.. 👍... I think you need some suspension 😂

@@vanturion yes sand is the enemy and wet grass, or long grass 😆
