- So....this video might upload a day or two later than planned as my internet has been such a pain lately...
1 year with my horse of a lifetime 🐴💕
If someone wouldve said to me this time last year that we would be where we are now I would've laughed at them 🙈😂 so so proud of how far we have both come! Couldn't of done it without our amazing friend and instructor Sarah Sharp! Flatwork was impossible at the start...she used to be so nervous, bolt, evade the contact and spook at everything...in the end sarah decided to put poles, wings and blocks around the arena as a distraction and she started working properly after a while!:D Can't believe the difference in this mare! From the nervous horse that would cower at the back of her stable to the one that happily welcomes you in for cuddles! And from the horse that when you got on went broncing around the arena with or without you🙈😂 this year has been a rollercoaster! We've gone from jumping 30/40cm jumps to clearing 1.10! From having an absolutely nervous wreck in flatwork to winning an intro test! It may not seem like much to anyone from the outside but to me it's like we've climbed a mountain 🙈💕 we still need work on competitions as the atmosphere is still pretty scary for her 😂 but competing at 75 and 85 I'm pretty happy with!! Higher next year! Onwards and upwards! Look forward to many more years with this amazing horse 💕 so glad I didn't give up on us!!
