Heyy everyone!:D
About me...Well..my name is Lauren, i am 18 and as you can see I love horses, I have been riding for just over 3 years! I started riding late 2009:3 Pretty much every weekend of 2010! But then got seriously ill towards the end of 2010 and i missed pretty much a whole year of riding I had 1 or 2 lessons in 2011 but I was still just too ill:( I then started riding again in 2012!!xD but it took a lot of lessons to build my strength back up:/ But now its 2013 and I'm fully back to myself!!:D So yeah...let the craziness begin!;D
Horses have changed me forever and I hope one day to have a career doing what I love!:'')♥

Honey and Alfie {1 Year}
First of all apologies for the quality in places, I couldnt find the original videos so had to use the whatsapp ones -_-
So...where do I start?
Well I've been lucky enough to of been a big part of this pair's journey!
It's certainly not been plain sailing, with injuries, tack problems and a bit of a confidence crisis...but they've got through it together and honey has always done the best by alfie.
I honestly admire how slow she has done things with alfie! When she got him he was just coming back into work after major surgery and was seriously weak in every way. I lunged him, long reined him and had the odd ride during the week while honey was at school then worked with her every weekend and school holidays to build him up and over time he got stronger!
Now a year on, he is a different horse, so willing, happy and starting to build a lovely topline! He is definatley ready for the next step now so we have lots in store for them both!
I hope she doesn't attack me for saying this but sometimes, especially recently honey has been really down on herself saying she's not good enough for alfie. So I made this video to show just how far they have come and how much further they have to go!
Honey, I am so proud of you everyday and I hope this video shows just how hard you have both worked to be where you are now!

Thanks for an amazing few years cops!x This video has been pretty hard to make because even though copper wasn't mine, I looked after him daily while his owners were at work and school. He became quite a big part of my life and was such a character to have around.

I cannot believe it's been two years since I met this horse. It just doesn't feel real...its a shame no one recorded our first day together, she was stood at the back of the stable traumatised by all the tinsel around her stable. This is why I ride western. When you start to fall off, you can just grab onto the saddle horn and hang on for dear life. Major respect to those who ride English though, especialy hunter jumpers. Y'all have the craziest falls.
