- The title tells the story on this one. If you go to Kluane, King's Throne hike and trail should be on your list. Quite steep in sections, no scrambling required, although you might slide a few times. Bring a jacket, even in summer. It's known to get very windy and cool here.
Stunning views in all directions. I would recommend staying in Kathleen Lake Campground as it is very nice, but there is boondocking areas around the borders of the park if you know where to look.
$22 per night, first come first served.

stunning, love hikes like that
I've stayed at Kathleen Lake campground before and hiked up King's Throne but only up to the cirque. It's a beautiful hike.
Umm…pretty sure I need to sit in that second Adirondack chair 😍😜
I think you know you're welcome to. It gets lonely out here at times 🤗🥲
@@mountain_man_mike I’d gladly keep you company!
Nice! I got up there in June, epic area.
How’s the snow up there in June?
@@cr7owns it was nice. Crispy enough to hold my weight, great with crampons, and I didn't feel like there was any avalanche danger with the amount up there.th-cam.com/video/EgHxs0XqQrM/w-d-xo.html
