You gave me an idea for my pool remodels. I was trying to figure out how to create the texture look of rock on the nose of the decking and know I know how. Also I think if you chamfer the edges you could roll the vertical coating over the corner and tie it into the top coat giving it a more uniform look.. just an idea.. over all it looks really good. Thanks for the share.. it helped me with my pool deck project.. I’ll posts some pictures soon.
Turned out nice. We've had to do similar things many times..... sometimes we use the skin like you all did, and sometimes the texture roller. Great job!
@@bondobuilt386 Excellent! I went all these years and never had one till last season..... its a huge time saver and gets good texture if you get on it at the right time. I look forward to the next video my friend!
Thanks Frank timing is everything with stamping buddy. 👍 Do you trow powder release or do the liquid release and antique the next day? I want to try the liquid next year.
Looks good. I’d be curious to see how it looks again in spring after it’s made it through its first winter. I have a similar situation that I’ve been wondering how to cover it up too and that didn’t look too painful ☺️
Don't let the rep tell u that u can't use the overlay product. We do steps with it all the time. Works good, just don't do it on sunny days. Sets way too fast and cracks. I also like to put 2 coats of the primer on.
Are you supposed to dampen the surface with a sponge so it will stick better, like they say to do with other similar products or are you supposed to let the adhesion promoter dry and then go right over the dry primer? Thanks
Great video!! Job well done! Will look amazing when selaled with a wet sealer. Quick question: how many years will an overlay on .5 inches on existing concrete hold up for if stamped and sealed. The area is 200 sq ft. Its an exposed outdoor balcony. I’m in Ontario, Toronto. So it will have to go through freeze thaw cycles. I plan to seal it every 2 years after installation. Thanks
When you guys poured it, did you not know that the face was going to have no color or texture? Why didn’t you strip and face/ stamp when you poured it?
Thanks For Making it look easy to put that stuff on vertical just to sucker the average dumbbell into telling his wife he could do it himself Haaaaaa. Looks good by the way
I like how you fix the mistakes the other trades make.
I couldn't leave it like that Tom. LOL
Looks great, Ron!
Looks good and better than an smooth finish. Easy for a diy! You rock
Yes I thought so. Thanks 👍
Definitely looks better, great job.

That how we use to mix pool plaster back in the day but it was a big tub
Awesome

thanks 👍😊 Sorry buddy I cant help you with this question because I have no experience with doing over lays. I want to do some thought.
This was my first and just a step face so time will tell its 1 year old this fall.
Very Nice!
Thanks 😊

I wonder if some type of roller would work better than using your hands to pat it.
