The Familiarization Trip (famtrip) for Hollywood Film Professionals to Visit Indonesia

Did you know that Indonesia offers many locations that are picturesque and perfect for filming movies? Movies such as Eat, Pray, Love (2010) were examples of many Hollywood productions, which used Indonesia’s rich culture and scenery as background.
To further promote Indonesia’s potential as a Hollywood shooting location, the Indonesian Consulate General in Los Angeles, with the full support of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy has organized a Familiarization Trip (famtrip) in 2020 for Hollywood film professionals to visit Indonesia in search of potential movie filming locations.
Participants joined this 10-day famtrip to visit various cities in Indonesia, including the scenic vistas of Labuan Bajo, the majestic Prambanan and Borobudur temples in Yogyakarta, as well as the sets of Indonesia’s very own Infinite Studio in Batam.
