- Here's a live studio orchestral concept for "ghostin" to be featured on my upcoming album 'thank u, next: the orchestral sessions' set to be released later this month alongside my BBC One Live EP and Dangeorus Woman Tour album.
I kept this track super lowkey and simple, only adding additional piano, strings, cymbals, clarinet, tuba, glockenspiel, harp, and flute. Wanted to accentuate the original beauty of the song rather than adding a bunch of other instrumens and overproducing this track. The piano track was also provided by PianoNest so check their stuff out whenever you can. Their tracks are honestly amazing!
Besides "break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored" the album will also feature my "7 rings" and "imagine" concepts as well as other reimagined tracks from the newly released 'thank u, next' album.
Backtrack version and lyric video coming soon, but in the meantime enjoy!

When I’m listening to this song I cry. The lyrics is like me talking to myself. I’m in love and whipped for a man who’s toxic for me. I love him so much, but he’s not the right person for me. Im desperate for him and whenever I try I get shot down repeatedly. The only person who I could lean on to is myself. If you think about the lyrics it’s like a message to yourself that you’ll be strong and acceptance. I stay up at 2 am playing this crying my heart out cause of pity to me and what I’m putting myself in.
