@@TheRhythmArchive I'm happy for all the years Sum 41 gave the world, though I'm undeniably sad to see them disbanding. I'm not gonna cry of course, but them disbanding is sad.
Sad to see them go but happier because of what they have done for me. These guys understand what it means to burn out rather than fade away, and they made one hell of a fireball
On behalf of the United States including myself, I thank you for uploading the whole Sum 41 Last Concert in Toronto on TH-cam, my Guy! I mentioned you on my Instagram story during my 27th birthday. 😀🙃
I think they announced the final album and tour... and then found out the album, and tour were WAY bigger than they expected, and that they are actually in their prime right now. They just belong up there on stage. I hope they'll be back.
@chadnikolaus8793 they definitely are going out on top, with their best album and a killer tour. I can understand, though, Derycks reasoning for calling it a day, given his health issues, and going nonstop since being a teenager. Time will tell I guess if they come back at some point down the road, but my feeling is they are done, except for maybe some one off performances. Would not be surprised to see Deryck do some kind of solo (maybe acoustic) thing down the road
That's one of the reasons they're done. Deryck wanted to end the band while they're in their prime. Not being forced to quit from failure and to be the band that people couldn't get enough of.

Thanks for posting this! I saw them for my first and last time in London. I'll miss them
@DiamondMaster20 think we all will miss them. They were part of the soundtrack to many of our lives. Glad you got to see them on this last tour. Hope my little video can bring back many happy memories! Did you have a favorite part of the show or favorite song? Thanks for watching and for the comment! Give me a like and subscribe if you haven't already! The Gob set is up and the Pup set will go live tomorrow! Keep on rocking! 🤘
Thanks for uploading this, I missed the real encore on the 28th show 😢
@katiel2509 Yeah, I was at both shows, I was on my way out of my seat for 2nd encore when they came out to play, so I almost missed it myself...lol...it was a surprise. So I knew for the 2nd show not to leave lol...and they played a 2nd song on the last show in 2nd encore, which they didn't do on the 28th. Was fantastic, wasn't it! Glad i could capture it for you and hope you enjoyed my little video! Give me a like and subscribe if you haven't already! Gob set is up on my channel and Pup going live tomorrow! Thanks for watching and for the comment! Maybe will see you at a future show! Have yourself a kickass rocknroll day! 🤘
I'm glad I got to see them live in the States in the pit before they retired.
@Ian_L1994 so cool! Which show did you see? Was setlist the same?
@@TheRhythmArchive It was with Simple Plan. This was before "Heaven and Hell" came out. So, a little different.

Detected a bit of melancholy 7:05 in the last part of Dave's Hell Song solo; maybe knowing this is the last ?
he defo milked the walk down a little know it's the last time.
Deryk sounds really good, considering how sick he was.

Thanks for watching and for the comment! Hope you enjoyed the video! Give me a like and subscribe if you haven't already! Gob and Pup sets coming shortly. 🤘
Why are they breaking up?
From what I gather, it's just 'too old for this shit.' They've been going non stop for over 20 years and decided to call it now.
@ yeah I guess pop punk is kind of hard to pull off at a older age. I bet you this is all to stage a reunion tour when the demand for it grows though.
Deryck says he feels he has completed everything he wanted to as far as music goes for this band in the final album.
Basically what the others have already said, plus I think they wanna focus on their other projects and its tough to dedicate time to Sum 41 at the same time.
Bands pretending to break up is the dumbest thing ever. Almost every band ends up reuniting. Just take a break.
Really lame crowd for their last show.
