Dr. Science 5252 it’s all on different track surfaces that will suit the turbines better. Some are red clay some are dry dirt and so on. End of the day it’s set up. Aside from the advantage of been able to pedal a piston engine where the turbine you can’t do that. And I was told this by a guy who does tractor pulling himself

Turbine engine's do work on certain tracks. Blown v8s and big v12s are my favorite. Plus diesel power ad well

Can anyone explain how the jet engine tractors work? Because they're somehow using them to turn the wheels instead of relying on thrust
They're turboshaft engines originally made to drive helicopter blades (or sometimes tanks).
