As a dancer, I found hip hop the most impressive as she has this certain style and it feels a bit more contemporary, style is so much harder than technique in my opinion and all of them did a great execution of each style.

belly dance is really pretty but it can be really hard, flexible hips is very necessary
kpop is not a dance genre but learning the choreos through videos with no tutorial takes hours, even days to do

I would say that kpop is not a dance genre in the western world, but I could see it very well as a genre. But what genre would you put it in?
@@rupa15440 it cannot be a genre because what would learn in a class? choreographies? yes sure but they are made out of steps from various differents genres (like hip hop, african dances, jazz and more)
like dances are steps and moves created by people but kpop is already done choreographies with those dances steps

like in ballet, i learn the steps, their names, the techniques, the history of ballet but you can’t do that with kpop because its song genre, there’s no such a thing since they use steps from other dances

if kpop dance were steps never seen before, yeah sure it could be a genre but they even use viral tik tok dance moves in their choreos so thats not possible
plus they first started dancing and creating choreos because of the hip hop influences back in the late 70s when foreigners went to korea to watch the olympics
thats when they first got introduced to rapping as well

Its interesting because in terms of the history of ballet, dancing en pointe is one of the more recent developments and traditionally ballet used to be danced on the balls of the feet, not the toes. Ballet originated in Italy in the 15th century during the renaissance as a court dance which looked very different to the ballet we think of today, then it spread throughout the other royal courts of europe, especially in france where Louis XIV established the Paris ballet where most ballet techniques were developed. But dancing on pointe only became a feature of ballet during the 19th century

As someone who does all styles of dances in my group all of these skills require a lot from your body and physical ability along with flexibility and facials. It’s not an easy skill to make look effortless. That’s y I will always have respect towards any type of art or dance.

Вы правы, что девушка скорее всего занимается не профессионально, так как в балете много всяких прыжков с большими пролётами и БОЛЬШЕ гибкости (эта девушка тоже довольно гибкая и хорошая, но это скорее средний балет). И я хотела бы добавить, что если бы девушка исполнила свой танец на пуантах (специальная обувь, чтобы стоять на одном пальце) это было бы немного красивее. Я ни в коем случае не хочу сказать, что девушка станцевала плохо, наоборот - очень красиво

Yo sinceramente sentí un poco pobre el de ballet, a mí me inscribieron a una academia de ballet desde mis 3 años y también fui probando otros estilos como flamenco, contemporáneo y hip hop (también probé belly dance, sin embargo, por un percance de la clase se tuvo que clausurar), para mí el que más dedicación y esfuerzo merece es el ballet, se necesita una disciplina muy grande, actualmente tengo 13 años y 10 bailando está magnífica danza.

Es una lastima que solo 1 persona haya elegido Bellydance, es una danza muy hermosa y complicada, implica muchos movimientos de vientre pecho y hombros, sin embargo siento que la bailarina no mostró mucho, quizá fue la elección ya que claramente que se ve que elegio un derbake, sin embargo el Bellydance es muchísimo más de lo que se mostró, espero alguien se anime a intentarlo xq hay muchísimos estilos más dentro del belly que son muy interesantes

As someone who was an ATS Belly Dancer myself, I am probably going to be a bit biased; but the belly dancer was my favorite. She had amazing technical skills. They all did a good job though. Dancing in general takes time and hard work to really learn and build up skills.

Ballet for me personally is my top pick, there's just something in those smooth flow of movements that expresses elegance and art, and it goes well with a lot of slow or ballad vocal heavy songs. Though I know how every dance works, so I always have respect to any kinds of dance because they are all different and impressive.

As a hip hop, musical theater, and lyrical dancer, the ballet seemed more lyrical to me. Idk maybe it’s different in Korea but the outfit and more water flowy moves ( if that even makes sense) just seemed a bit more lyrical to me 😊
