I admire your ability to have very thoughtful choices as well as choosing bags for both usability and style. I almost decided on a chanel 19 last year but didnt see how i can use it as a shoulder bag. And even though chanel 19 is not chanel's best seller, i think it is the most functional as an everyday bag. The classic flaps do not appeal to me, no matter its popularity I bought the Fendi baguette instead. Now I am questioning my choice 😆.

Green is an natural colour of the earth so it organically mixes well with so many colours so it is definitely a neutral 💚 I was thinking maybe limiting my caffeine intake from 2 shots/day to one shot. I have the same love/hate relationship with the dauphine mm. I have to force myself to use it and I love the look of it but I hate how heavy it is and I’m not a fan of the straps. I bought a shorter leather strap in the same chocolate color to match and use it as a top handle and that is so much better for me.
@@19andiaz Holy heck that is a great idea what you did with the straps! May I ask where you got the extra strap from? That may make wearing it a lot easier. It feels kind of clunky with all these longer straps sometimes! Let’s make a pact for both of us to wear this bag more in 2025! 🙌❤️😉
@ yes! I need to wear her more often because she’s truly a beautiful bag. She’s just so classy. But I got the strap from an Etsy seller. I checked earlier and she doesn’t have it listed anymore but when I was browsing I saw similar colors from other sellers. I think you might like using her with a shorter strap. It’s worth a try ❤️

How does the city steamer compare to the size of a Birkin 30? Your friend in New York has an incredible collection!!!!
@@michellecrawford5692 That’s so funny you ask bc I measured my city steamer recently to see how it compares to a birkin after that video lol. My city steamer is 25cm across so slightly smaller than the birkin 30. I decided that since I haven’t worn my city steamer in a while, I probably couldn’t justify a birkin given its similar silhouette/functionality…this is where I find my own videos helpful for me lol 😆 Isn’t “Jen’s” collection so dreamy! 💞 It was satisfying just to hold/touch all her bags! 😅 Hope you’re doing well Michelle! I think you would figure out a way to use a Birkin!🤣 If it was in a bright color you would use it a lot! Color makes a big difference!!! I would just love to look at one up close! Could you tell big difference in quality between Hermes and Chanel? Or Hermes and Louis Vuitton?
@@michellecrawford5692 Colour makes a HUGE difference for sure! And absolutely I could tell the difference between Hermes’ leathers compared to others esp after touching so many at the same time. I would say Hermes leather is similar to the LV capucines I have. (Some Hermes aficionados will probably turn their nose up at me saying that lol). Chanel is quite different in terms of quality in comparison, imo. We are def paying for the brand and their unique designs vs the quality of materials if I’m being totally honest…but that is a trade off that I think most of us are aware of and willing to pay for, for the right style of bag.
