I've said it before, but it needs to be said again. The content, and video quality this guy pulls out is brilliant, yet, he gets mentioned in the same breath as TGE, Archie Hamilton etc. It's an injustice, deserves so much more recognition
I don’t think he gets put in with TGE, Archie or those kinds of TH-camrs. He probably falls in just a hair above SOL, Supercar Blondie and Stradman, but right behind Shmee and JWW while still way above TGE, DDE, Archie. Although Shmee and JWW are totally different TH-camrs, they’re both phenomenal. STG is right behind them and that’s a huge compliment.
Yeah... "collectors" with brand new shiny cars they never drive because of potential depreciation. Whenever I see someone call himself a "collector" and all his cars are max 3 years old can't help but roll my eyes.
This is so refreshing to listen to a true car fanatic who knows each and every one of his vehicles inside and out-as well as their history-rather than an owner of a super/hyper car collection who typically know very little about what they own. Awesome!
This is one guy I would like to meet myself. Being that I worked on Porsche’s in the early 90’s to mid 90’s I can say that Porsche’s pull you in. Outstanding pieces of art.
Fully enjoyed... and like a lot of Sam’s video, I didn’t want it to end. The wealth of Porsche knowledge this guy has is incredible. The exclusive video alone should make the subscription worthwhile!!!!
Nice to see the front engine Porsches get some love. I had a 944 when I was in college, loved that car. Now it's sitting in a garage gathering dust for the last 10 years, gonna do a full restoration one of these days.
Over the years Magnus has developed a sweet British/California accent that sometimes bends Aussie juss a bit. TH-cam makes it fun to follow cool people. Still a 944 T fan.
Saw Magnus at the Rennsport Festival in Sydney a couple of years ago and he had people going up to him and talking to him every time i saw him and he would always be having a good chat with them.
Barry Makariou I’d think so too, consistently high quality and fun content, but weirdly channel doesn’t seem to grow much at all, which seem rather unfair..
Being in his presence is one thing but having him show you his collection and having that one on one time no words can explain on how jealous I am. Keep doing you my brother from another
My dream is to have a full free day with Magnus, talking non stop about Porsches and having a beautiful sunset drive in LA with the 277... this guy is a true petrolhead, thank you Sam for such video
I raced in the Porsche Club of America Germany Region for a number of years. Yes, it's weird that there is not, at least 20 years ago, was not, a Porsche Club of Germany. I raced a 1985.5 944, and regularly was trounced by a 924. There were some fantastic cars that people would race: 911RSR (993), 924 Club Sport, 993/996 GT3's, and loads of 964RS's, 993/996's of different varieties, a few 993 Turbo's, 2 wheel drive, all wheel drive - it was just fun to see what would show up, and people would run the wheels off of them. I still have the magnetic number plates we used which have the PCR GR crest on them. We took a club outing to the Ruf factory, which was on my wife's birthday - boy was she not pleased :). We ran the Nurburgring when Sabine Schmitz was driving the ring taxi in-between waiting tables at the local restaurant - literally. She passed me once in a BMW M5, and managed to get changed back into normal clothes to walk into the restaurant, the same time as us, to wait on us. There are an amazing amount of Porsche's stashed away in small collections, and it's cool to see that Magnus gets what makes Porsches fun. It's definitely not always the exterior, but sometimes just a nice ride, cool interior, or something that else that not everyone has to love. They're all fun.
Sam I must say DAMN, you've killed the game with this video. (since I'm a Porsche fan) Getting to meet Magnus Walker on your 1st day in LA is simply epic beyond words!!! Jay Leno next?????
So glad that you are more and more falling in love with Porsches and BMW's. Absolutely love your content! For some real Porsche holiness you should vissit Porsche Classic Center Gelderland in the Netherlands one day!
there is a fair few Magnus videos around but this one is exactly what I hoped for from a video with him it. Thank you! Best thing in the video is the building I want one like that.
Gotta love Magnus. Such an awsome and passionate collector. A true collector unlike many. And also great to hear you two just shoot the breeze petrolhead to petrolhead.
Great video, I love the way they are all slightly rough around the edges apart from that 964 !! ( wow ). He talks about driving them too which is good !! Glad he owns the 924/28/44/68 front engine ones too as they play a massively important part in Porsche’s history, didn’t notice any boxster/caymans though !! Good work Sam 👍🏻
Ya I love that too, he doesnt take out anything that goes wrong, he leaves them in, that what makes his videos so real, makes them human, nothing artificial about them, they not manufactured feel, just totally natural,
Great stuff, Sam! Had the pleasure of meeting Magnus at the Driven to America air-cooled Porsche event out here on Long Island last year. Such a cool guy.
Apart from an amazing collection, how cool is Magnus! I bet he could talk for hours about Porsche's and you would be on the edge of your seat for the entire talk
Might have to pull the trigger on the "pro membership" if there is more Magnus content. What an interesting man. I've got some light reading on wiki to do now.
I think this is another one of your better videos Sam. It's strange because I'm a Ferrari guy too, but listening to Magnus talk about his collection really makes me want to know more about Porsche.
OMG the best video you have done, second to the Porsche girl. But Magnus is a total legend and a hero of mine. That 964 is the most amazing creation I’ve seen. Thanks for making my day 👍🙏
There was a documentary on Magnus on TH-cam that I watched a while back, & it was just amazing. The guys 'Made In America' rags to riches story is inspiring but so too his love for Porsches & driving them. I also love the way that he controls himself financially. He could own one or two hypercars, but instead loves having a large collection of usable, different cars that he can take out as often as he likes to enjoy. Im not much of a player but I employ the exact same attitude with my guitars. I have five of them with not a single one worth more than $500AUD. For $2,500 AUD I could have one, really good one, but it just wouldnt be the same as coming home to my guitars lined up on their stands along my living room wall, all unique. I ask myself, 'what would I like to play today' & then pick one up, a different experience each time. That's what collections are all about, & you should always collect what you can afford to not just buy, but enjoy.
Not a petrol head, nor a Porsche guy ever really, but this is awesome - love Magnus’ passion and profound knowledge of the DNA of every car. Ust watch you tube video!
I've said it before, but it needs to be said again. The content, and video quality this guy pulls out is brilliant, yet, he gets mentioned in the same breath as TGE, Archie Hamilton etc. It's an injustice, deserves so much more recognition
I think most people put him and mr.jww in the same category of best content producers, quality over anything

The man loves being the urban outlaw. He does know and love his Porsches and can talk about them
@NEGUS MBARKA no ac in socal that can be a problem. he definitely plays his chosen character
vroom broom
He is a piece of shit.
He loves being a poser fuck head
Urban Outlaw? That's his clothing line. Ooooooohhhh! BAD ASS. What the Poseur Fuck.
This guy's amazing - makes such a refreshing change from some of the bell end collectors that get featured on TH-cam.
Couldn't agree more.
Bell end? Huh. What's that, never heard it before.

Yeah... "collectors" with brand new shiny cars they never drive because of potential depreciation. Whenever I see someone call himself a "collector" and all his cars are max 3 years old can't help but roll my eyes.
World needs more collectors like Magnus!
Magnus is a legend. Literally no better Porsche guy you could have gone to see.
Imagine a convo between Magnus Walker and Jerry Seinfeld?
Please keep the classic Porsche content... We know you LOVE It as some of us do... Amazing video and good luck with DTW

Magnus manages to sound relentlessly enthusiastic yet deliver his lines with a tone of someone completely bored by having to tell his tale yet again.
To be fair. He has sounded like that since day one on TH-cam
speeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed
I think it's just the inner Australian coming out lol
😂
Be careful what you wish for 😂
The sounds of those classic 911 doors opening and closing are just utterly addicting
This is so refreshing to listen to a true car fanatic who knows each and every one of his vehicles inside and out-as well as their history-rather than an owner of a super/hyper car collection who typically know very little about what they own. Awesome!
Could listen to you and Magnus for hours, both passionate guys.
Love his collection and love that he does what he wants with them.
This is one guy I would like to meet myself. Being that I worked on Porsche’s in the early 90’s to mid 90’s I can say that Porsche’s pull you in. Outstanding pieces of art.
His accent goes from Sheffield to LA then back to Sheffield
It's what happens when you live somewhere for a long time.
broom vroom
I thought he sounded Aussie for a minute there
@@uzzinho nope
He's on the same trajectory that Paul McCartney took. I think what sticks out the most is how he hardly enunciates his Ts at all, they're all Ds.
I got to meet Magnus last year in Portland Oregon and man super genuine guy. Down to earth and respectful and super easy to talk to! Love it
I love how Magnus has a Tamiya poster in his garage.
Well, he's a legend. Eccentric and a mine of Porsche knowledge.
God I’ve waited for this video so much 😍 I’ve got to say your content gets better and better🙏🏻
Fully enjoyed... and like a lot of Sam’s video, I didn’t want it to end. The wealth of Porsche knowledge this guy has is incredible. The exclusive video alone should make the subscription worthwhile!!!!
i love how specific he implements his passion into other things
I love magnus walker, the way he talks and conveys himself and tell stories he just so interesting.
Much love for Magnus and what he does. Always a gentleman.
The 964 is my favourite, just perfect.
Copy that, love the color and all the tasteful subtle touches done like the louvered front fenders
Wow what a down to earth no airs and graces geezer... Great job Sam fantastic content
Nice to see the front engine Porsches get some love. I had a 944 when I was in college, loved that car. Now it's sitting in a garage gathering dust for the last 10 years, gonna do a full restoration one of these days.

Wow that's an awesome collection of Porsches and Lotus as well. The man loves his car so much and knows everything about them.
Every time i watch your vidoes,i see something new and amazing.Great work.
What a cool guy! So relaxing hearing him talk....
Saw Magnus at the Rennsport Festival in Sydney a couple of years ago and he had people going up to him and talking to him every time i saw him and he would always be having a good chat with them.
Never judge the book by the cover, that man and his collection are brilliant. And those Porsche interiors are flippin cool !
Love a bit of Magnus! Awesome video buddy :-)
wow! Would take that collection over any supercar collection.
Mah man! 😎✌️
Porsche makes plenty of super cars. Ferrari’s and lambos are much more sought after by douche bags. It’s proven science.
vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv rooooom
I'm with you
P P Don’t worry, in a few years you’ll get it
I’ve never been a big Porsche fan, but that collection was both amazing and fascinating!
Absolutely incredible! Magnus Walker is a legend. Thank you for sharing this!!
I've been waiting so long for this!!
Bucket list stuff right here. Thanks Sam.
What a guy, his knowledge is through the roof! Awesome collection and a great video Sam. 👌
the key point to what magus said. he does not buy porsche at the value today, a car is only worth what your willing to pay.
LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!! Great video Sam. Thanks 👍🏻👍🏻
One of the best Magnus videos I've seen. Thank you.
Wow. Awesome. I could listen to that guy all day
Awesome as usual! 500k Subs just round the corner!
Barry Makariou I’d think so too, consistently high quality and fun content, but weirdly channel doesn’t seem to grow much at all, which seem rather unfair..
Barry Makariou he deserve 5 million subscribers
Agreed I can’t understand how he’s not approaching 1M You Tube is hard work not as easy as everyone thinks!
Should be waaaaay above 500k. Consistently one of the best car TH-cam channels.
Being in his presence is one thing but having him show you his collection and having that one on one time no words can explain on how jealous I am. Keep doing you my brother from another
I love Magnus' 'car house' goals, its less driveway, more Porsche museum. Awesome video
You the man magnus. Every porsche dude wants to be you bro
This has to be my favorite interview you have ever done!
Simply awesome Sam. What an interview. Magnus was on fire. One of the coolest car guys on the earth. Really enjoyed that. :-)
Magnus Walker is definitively one of the authorities of Porsche knowledge! Great video!

Wow love seeing this. Much respect for Magnus and his awesome collection.
great video man, thanks 🙏. magnus is rad, and his drive vids are pure art
Well done Sam. This is what we need more of, collections that actually mean something. It's not a soulless assortment of youtube trophies.
Magnus is a living legend and I hung on his every word. Thanks Sam

This guy is amazing. What a collection
This man is a true collector and a man that knows himself
Thank you for this upload. The more Porsche content you do... I will share it.
Man great vid . Thanks for sharing this awesome footage on the Porsche collection .

I have met Magnus 3 times. Always a gent who has time for you. He signed the frunk on my 981 spyder as well .
Incredible stuff. Makes me want to seek out an older 911. Love the simplicity and the lighter weight cars.
This is the part where I kick myself for not buying that aircooled Targa for $8500 US back in the day
I think this is another one of your better videos Sam. It's strange because I'm a Ferrari guy too, but listening to Magnus talk about his collection really makes me want to know more about Porsche.

Great video, Magnus is always fun to listen to. He’s full of passion for the Porsche cars.
Found Magnus on Smokin Tire podcast glad you spoke to him great to hear and see.
