Other players simply had an unlucky period (Sebastiano Rossi) or serious injuries, for example Edgar Davids. Franco Baresi and Pietro Vierkowod were at the end of their extraordinary career. Baresi explained that Sacchi claimed team played at the same way of 10 years before, but it was impossible.
