How the hell did I actually fall asleep to this?? I was so spooked listening to the first story and once I woke up in the morning I realised I didn't even remember listening to half of the second one. Great storytelling and great ASMR!
the daddy long legs story reminds me of the movie the babadook. i think if the protag maybe got divorced too or his wife died then his kid started seeing the same monster it could be a cool metaphor for loneliness or trauma following him throughout his life
I think the story telling/writing is a lot better, and often more creative, in short horror stories than in a lot of horror movies, maybe that has something to do with it?
The whole time I was listening to the crib walker bit, I was just thinking, yeah, that honestly just sounds like a dude strung up on some crazy drugs. I grew up in really druggy area, you see some real wild stuff. So I believe the city's explanation, not much of an anomaly.
