Hello - unfortunatley this is not an easy task. You should be able to prise the ball open using a small screwdriver and then some pliers/snips. You may have to end up cutting it off. Once you have removed the stopper, it may not be able to be reused.
@@DecorquipLtd thanks for the reply. Sadly I have found this is entirely accurate (and doubly difficult due to being high up). I will return to my screwdriver and pliers ... it'll give eventually
But how do you get the plastic ball stops off if they're already on the chain without breaking the string? I broke my plastic chain trying to get one that is clasped to 2 balls. No instructions from the company. I had to jerry rig it myself.
How do you move the metal ball once some idiot has clamped it in place?
