Mary, your ' can do' attitude is an inspiration to many woman. Its nice for your husband, boyfriend or friend or family to help out , but its brings an incredible sense of accomplishment when you can also tackle something for yourself or mostly for yourself. The laundry room makeover looks beautiful 😍 Everything looks great and it's good a new toilet was replaced; why not 🙂 Each update just adds to the entire room's prettiness and downright practicality. BTW, all the "little touches" are great, but just love that drying rack!😍 Can you tell me approximately how much weight it can hold? I have a very small laundry room with a pair of older SUPER sized washer and dryer (still working great!). I do have a small shelf and four full size cabinets. The wall opposite the machines is where I'd like to "anchor" the drying rack. Thank you for your wonderful videos. I always look forward to watching😊

Amazing improvement. Here is a DIY tip for Mary. My laundry room counter had no end cap like yours. I took acrylic craft paint in the colors of my counter and layered them in spots to match the top and now it blends right in. It only took about 10 minutes and you'd never know now.
It's always nice to see the neglected rooms get a make-over. Great Job

@@brendadavis2548 Yes, you're right, it's a German dialect and not close to Dutch. I speak PA Dutch myself and when my husband and I were in Germany a few years ago we could understand quite a bit of the German words we heard!

Mary, if you want plants that would enjoy this space, peace lilies will appreciate it. They like wet and rather dark places and the white walls will provide enough non-direct light for them.

I love this laundry room makeover. It encompasses many upgrades in a single room. 5 weeks ago we gutted out only bathroom in main house. The big useles giant built in spa tub didn't work for us in our older age. Now we have a large spa shower with real doors with a sit down bench with second hand held shower. We replaced everything. New engineered quartz counterpoint. Slip proof tile. We kept old vanity and moved over. Added 2 cubbies on sides for storage baskets. Still to add over toilet shelves. Where I can add more personalization. We love it. Like you we learned a lot in the process.
