Every morning I have my daughters listen to two R&B songs while driving to school. They need to hear real, beautiful music.
Edit: let me reiterate. One morning, while taking both my daughters to school, one asked “do you and daddy have a song?” Excited, I said “YES!” I made them listen to SWV “Weak”. Since then, it had been a thing we do every morning. I've added songs that I grew up to - songs my mom and dad danced to, songs my brother - who passed away - loved, down to my favorite gospel songs.
