Mirotic is not an easy song to perform. It's not just about having solid vocals and sharp choreography, you also have to manifest a striking presence that will command the stage and captivate the audience. You have to deliver an exceptional and clean performance while enjoying it. This is why I'm completely in awe with this performance. This team went beyond expectations and showed us a complete and VERY NEAT performance. Every aspect of it was balanced. It's not too much, not too less, it's just the right amount of stage factor. They seriously did justice to TVXQ's song. The high notes and the adlibs were crazy. Their facial expressions were appealing. The fanchants were awesome too. And damn, I suddenly miss the good old days with TVXQ. They're that good. They're memorable. I hope this team wins. This performance is just too good, it's perfect.

If you still think like that, the 'harder choreo' team need not to try harder bcs no matter who their rivals are or no matter they do 'failed' performance, they will still be chosen bcs they did the harder choreo. I know biased make us unfair, but let's see again, it's not about BTS and TVXQ. It's about praising the competitors according to their hard work AND result performance To be fair, make a list like this: 1. Fake love has a hard choreo but not too strong vocal. It's the white formal suits. The uniform. It's visually boring. Also I hate the camer person. Focus on them I almost liked them at 2:38. I don't like how they're not all dancing it while singing. I STILL THINK ABOUT THIS STAGE. THEY WE'RE ROBBED, THEY SHOULD'VE WON. They performed flawlessly and the crowd was engaged. Also this team's dynamic was really cool and they looked good together. Like a real group.
Just admit it everyone, their more like an Idol already than any other group. Their performance looked flawlessly projected and was so relaxed and their blending of their voices, hands up. Nope even the judges voted for fake love plus the other team practiced for 2 days and even jhope said fake love was so hard andnthey practiced alot pf times but the other group didnt the moves was really hard sis u should try it if your just saying it only because bts is popular,there is not even lots of covers of fake lovd because its hard
This is honestly my favourite team because not only did they execute an amazing cover of Mirotic, but they all showcased talents that aren't within their normal performance scope. People who didn't watch Under 19 might think this is a pretty solid cover, but what you probably don't know is that this group has dancers as the main vocalists, a vocalist as a rapper, and a rapper as a lead dancer. They're just THAT talented. This team experienced the most interesting turn of events I've ever seen on a survival show. The 6 members were picked from 3 different talent groups in the show: 2 from vocals, 3 from performance (mostly dancers), and 1 from rap. However, in this particular performance, most of the members took on completely different roles. The 3 main vocalists you see are actually from the performance (dance) group, 1 of the rappers here is from the vocal group, and the other rapper helped lead the dance during practice sessions. So Changmin's high note? Yeah that's Wumiti from the performance group. The Adlibs? Also the performance group members. The best part is, YOU CAN'T EVEN TELL. That's what truly makes this performance great. They all have so many hidden talents and their skills blended so harmoniously together you can't even tell that these aren't their original roles. This is definitely one of the better covers of Mirotic I've seen. They deserved the win. If the other group didn't get Fake Love as their song, this group would have won swept the votes. I suggest everyone go watch this episode of Under 19 to truly appreciate the wonder that is the Mirotic team.
so after watching both performances multiple times carefully, my unbiased opinion is that "mirotic" seemed more like a complete performance. (I have favorites from both teams) but actually! both of the performances were really amazing for their level as trainees and considering the time they had to prepare. fake love had powerful dance and emotions/expressions down, and mirotic showed great harmony and stable vocalizations. it was really close, but mirotic's stage presence was very strong and I really thought this was their comeback stage. they made it seem like their own song and performance, and not just a cover. everyone stands out and I remember each one of them clearly.
the fake love stage already has so many more views and it's obviously due to both the song and bts' global popularity. i really wish that wasn't a factor, but it is. it all becomes a popularity contest in the end when voting is placed in the hands of fans/the public. i personally love, love, love this performance. the complexity of fake love's dance should definitely be considered, and team fake love performed well, but i think team mitotic really takes the cake. i hope they win

i want to slap the people who said this song was easy. did they a new kpop fan or what? this song is already hard to begin with because the original singer has their own characteristic voice. there's so many adlibs and they have to harmonize too, how can people said this song was easy?? are you deaf? maybe the dance is not that hard, but once again, the original singer has their own aura and a strong presence, it's hard to cover their dance style too because they have their own aura when they were dancing. but hey, this song was from 2008 just in case you forget, what did you expect from the dance was like at that time? you want them to dance with hard movement like the fake love team? it did not go well with the flow of the song you know. :)
"Mirotic is not even a hard song" It is a song where above average vocal stability is needed because you have to REALLY sing while dancing. That's the kind of standard set by the original singers. You don't just impress with hard choreo, you also need blow ppl away with vocals.
I hate it in general when some fans think that old kpop songs are easier. Mirotic in particular not only has Changmin's famous high note, but also Jaejoong's and Junsu's adlibs. And TVXQ barely lipsynced and used MR because they are strong vocalists.

Wearing all white, also holding the mic, doing Changmin's highnote is Wu Muti (he's from china) - Team Performance 3. The one wearing white shirt with black collar is Seunghwan -Team Performance 4. The one wearing black shirt underneath white vest & do the rap part is Dongjoon - Team Vocal 5. The one wearing black ribbon on his neck, (trying to) look sexy & serving visual is Taewoo - Team Vocal. 6. The one wearing all white w/o jacket & mostly dance in the centre is Yongha - Team Rap. Like Taewoo said on episode 10: *we all go to the wrong team* Personally, this performance looks more like an idol group stage. It feels complete, nothing lacking. I really hope they win. Edit: the result is out during ep 11. They lose against team Fake Love. Edit 2: After 4th elimination round, this unit only left with 5 trainees. Wumuti, Byeonghee, Seunghwan, Taewoo & Yongha advance to the final~ Edit 3: i'm still bitter about Wumuti quitting before final, and Byeonghee doesn't get to the final debut line. This was definitely the superior performance, not because it was easier, but because they HARMONIZED, MESHED, AND PERFORMED FLAWLESSLY. As a Cassie and an OLDER Kpop fan, I've seen countless covers by other groups of this song. Of those, there are very few that I approve of or consider good. When you take into account their age, they took TVXQ and made it FIT them. Whereas I feel like Fake Love team tried too hard to emulate BTS instead of staying true to their own limits and skill level. I give this performance a solid A from me. And I'm very picky about covers of this song. It was innocent, but all together harmonious at the same time. THAT is why this unit deserves to win.

SHINee did a vocal cover as rookies, all of the members were under 19 like these trainees (actually at the time they were all younger than these boys) and they did fantastic.
Honestly, out of all the performances, this is the only one that has me coming back to re-watch (along with Fiction, but not as much). That's how much they killed it. To cover such a difficult song and deliver it as stable as they did, is amazing. Yeah, the positions were everywhere, but it worked in their favor because instead of getting something we were expecting, we got a great surprise in finding out how each member here is definitely well rounded in all positions, and for that, it's 1st place to me. ❤

in my opinion the mirotic team is very good, dance, vocal, rap. everything is neatly arranged. even in the training the performance team has good vocals, the vocal team has a rap tone, and the rap team has the ability to lead dances. they complement each other. i hope mirotic team win

this team is gold gem. why? because they let the three performance team doing the adlib and high notes while the vocal team is singing the chorus which is why they are so stable at singing while dancing. Yoo Yongha in the team is another brilliant idea he did busking a lot and he can dance well among the rap team which is let him dance be the center most of the time is another genius idea. They are better than FL team in vocal stabilization which is rare to find in a team not to mention that each of them shine in their way without outshadowed the other and thats whats makes them better. They were the most well rounded trainees and they shined individually, stop saying they had it easy just to downgrade their work, talk to me whenever you find such well rounded trainees. As a Cassiopeia, I really approve this performance. Like the kids vocals are great overall. Wu Muti really pulled off the high notes. Even though the sexy feel of the song was not delivered, they made it into a wholesome cover that suits them so well. A lot may say that this group's performance is easier compared to the other one but at the end of the day, just like what Yesung told the performance team when he mentored them, they should also practice on their vocals and not just the performance. You can't give the audience a complete performance by only dancing or rapping perfectly, you can give everyone a complete and perfect performance if you were able to execute all elements of a performance (rap, dance, vocal) perfectly. And the Mirotic group gave this complete performance to us. Ps. Excuse me but those people who says that the vocals for mirotic is easy compared to the other song, have you heard the original performance from the legends? Have you heard the strong, unique and high vocals of DB5K? Have you noticed how the legends play on their vocals while doing their ad-libs? DB5K may not have the best vocal techniques in KPOP but they have the best vocal harmonization and all five of them have different vocal colors. Wow! Who said Mirotic is EASY?! Come on, Wu Mu Ti struggled with that super high note sang by Changmin! Muti almost went out of tune but luckily he didnt! I was waiting for the ad-libs but i guess that would be expecting too much from these rookies! But i feel that they did quite well given that they are still trainees!

Randomly clicked this, I know nothing at all about this show but wow, the first 3 almost sang like the original TVXQ. In general, almost all of them did so well but the one who sang the first line caught my ears and my eyes the most. His dancing is good too. And the one who did the High-note is no joke too.
The one who sang the intro is Byeonghee and the one who did the high notes is Wu Muti. They are actually from Performance Team but they covered the vocals part. Ps: you should watch their practice scene, it's hella funny 😂

Not a fans of tvxq or bts, my bias even not here but there, but dang! I keep repeating this insanly since yesterday. This is how good their performance is. Bias is someone you love but you should accept that there always be someone who can do a better job.

But B.A.P, Monsta X, SHINee, and the most legendary collab with Leo, Daehyun, Youngjae, and Eunkwang delivered amazing stages. Those were such powerful covers that I still go back to watch them. Check them out please. SHINees vocal cover is amazing and it's when they were still rookies so they were all under 19 years old like these trainees :)
As much as I love all UNDER NINETEEN groups, this one should win over Fake Love for me. It's a pity that Fake Love got matched up with a song that doesn't have a complicated choreo, but it was all decided on pure luck so we couldn't do anything about that. What's done is done and we're only looking at the performance is being served now. Fake Love team did an amazing job. They pulled of a hard song and they got complimented by JHOPE, an original artist of the song, plus the fact that the fans were satisfied by their output. Mirotic however, wins this for me. The group's composition is very great. The have this ; "If I didn't know this song, I never would've thought that they are just covering this" feel. The dancers can hit the high notes well, the rappers are front dancers and the vocals got in charge of the rap. What else is there to say? No group did bad, Mirotic just wins this battle for me.

Maybe Fake Love team have a more complicated and hard choreos, But i think Mirotic team vocal's were so amazing, it just like their own song😅, and their harmonization are very great. Tho fake love did well, i tink mirotic deserve to win this round. The vocals is really tip top! I know fake love dance is hard which is why their vocals are a little unstable. But mirotic vocals all compliment each other and did you hear those harmonisations and multiple adlibs and that high note ? Wow. Tho their dance is not as hard as fake love, but still for mirotic its still hard to sing like that, harmonising and adlibs while dancing. Cz theres a risk of having it sound messy singing mutiple adlibs in one go. So for me, mirotic deserve to win. But both teams did great. Not saying the other team did badly. Its just that mirotic team earned more points from me.

Byeonghee x Seunghwan alone is so powerful and then Wumuti gets a lot of vocal line. This team is just so powerful both vocal and dancing. Wumuti number 1 in a row, Seunghwan no 3,Byeonghee unfortunately low in vote he's just no 8 but these three in one team is just 🔥🔥🔥. Taewoo and Yongha are good too
I just saw the Peak Time show and there was a group cover Mirotic. So I watched this video again because I remembered Under19 have this amazing group who covered Mirotic really well and I admit this is one of legend performance in Under19.

Yes th dance here is easier but it's not like they were lacking, especially since the vocals on this song is harder to sing than fake love and they killed it period.

Differ with fake love, which the choreo is so intense, they need to shake their whole body in so many parts with the high pitch not just in singing but also in rapping, plus the formation keep changing for so many parts. Actually we cant compare team with focus on dance n rap with vocal group. The show need consider the song who suit to compare. For example, at least growl n FL have similar categories than mirotic FL. This is why, tje judge not give them score based on standart (choreo, vocal, performent, feeling, teamwork). Dont give song battle based on luck. 😪

Came back after watching the G Group love me right performance because of de ja vu. Much like this situation, an outstanding, stable performance didn't win because of popularity. Yes, both performances were really good but this performance was SO MUCH CLEANER. So, am I still salty about this not winning after all of these years? _yes._

Out of all the performances, this one drew me in the most. It was the most complete. The fact that their members are so well-rounded, meaning that they were not "stuck" in their "chosen position," made me fall for this group a lot more than Fake Love team. Everything about it makes me watch this performance on repeat.

I know people are saying that the only reason that team fake love vocals wasn’t good was because of how difficult the choreography is, which is true. But that doesn’t mean fake love deserves to win mirotic clearly did better. This felt like more of a performance and so professional unlike fake love which felt like a simple cover. I think it depends on your preference. This group went easier on their dance, so they have great vocals. The Fake Love team focused more on the dance, so their vocals weren't great. I like listening to this video but I prefer watching the Fake Love one.

People's counter argument is, "But Fake Love's choreography is way complicated," as if it justifies their vocal performance. If Fake Love team was really that good, they should be able to pull it off in both departments. Mirotic team has difficult vocals but they did not slack off in their choreography, did they? Competitions like this should be judged based on the overall performance. You cannot excuse a failure because theirs is a more complicated routine. But at the end of the day, kids voted for the group who performed the recently popular song.

Mirotic is not an easy song to perform. It's not just about having solid vocals and sharp choreography, you also have to manifest a striking presence that will command the stage and captivate the audience. You have to deliver an exceptional and clean performance while enjoying it. This is why I'm completely in awe with this performance. This team went beyond expectations and showed us a complete and VERY NEAT performance. Every aspect of it was balanced. It's not too much, not too less, it's just the right amount of stage factor. They seriously did justice to TVXQ's song. The high notes and the adlibs were crazy. Their facial expressions were appealing. The fanchants were awesome too. And damn, I suddenly miss the good old days with TVXQ. They're that good. They're memorable. I hope this team wins. This performance is just too good, it's perfect.

This is honestly my favourite team because not only did they execute an amazing cover of Mirotic, but they all showcased talents that aren't within their normal performance scope. People who didn't watch Under 19 might think this is a pretty solid cover, but what you probably don't know is that this group has dancers as the main vocalists, a vocalist as a rapper, and a rapper as a lead dancer. They're just THAT talented.
This team experienced the most interesting turn of events I've ever seen on a survival show. The 6 members were picked from 3 different talent groups in the show: 2 from vocals, 3 from performance (mostly dancers), and 1 from rap. However, in this particular performance, most of the members took on completely different roles. The 3 main vocalists you see are actually from the performance (dance) group, 1 of the rappers here is from the vocal group, and the other rapper helped lead the dance during practice sessions. So Changmin's high note? Yeah that's Wumiti from the performance group. The Adlibs? Also the performance group members. The best part is, YOU CAN'T EVEN TELL. That's what truly makes this performance great. They all have so many hidden talents and their skills blended so harmoniously together you can't even tell that these aren't their original roles.
This is definitely one of the better covers of Mirotic I've seen. They deserved the win. If the other group didn't get Fake Love as their song, this group would have won swept the votes. I suggest everyone go watch this episode of Under 19 to truly appreciate the wonder that is the Mirotic team.
so after watching both performances multiple times carefully, my unbiased opinion is that "mirotic" seemed more like a complete performance. (I have favorites from both teams) but actually! both of the performances were really amazing for their level as trainees and considering the time they had to prepare.
fake love had powerful dance and emotions/expressions down, and mirotic showed great harmony and stable vocalizations. it was really close, but mirotic's stage presence was very strong and I really thought this was their comeback stage. they made it seem like their own song and performance, and not just a cover. everyone stands out and I remember each one of them clearly.

I hate it in general when some fans think that old kpop songs are easier. Mirotic in particular not only has Changmin's famous high note, but also Jaejoong's and Junsu's adlibs. And TVXQ barely lipsynced and used MR because they are strong vocalists.
Wu Muti is amazing: he can dance, sing and he is really handsome too. A whole package.

This was definitely the superior performance, not because it was easier, but because they HARMONIZED, MESHED, AND PERFORMED FLAWLESSLY. As a Cassie and an OLDER Kpop fan, I've seen countless covers by other groups of this song. Of those, there are very few that I approve of or consider good. When you take into account their age, they took TVXQ and made it FIT them. Whereas I feel like Fake Love team tried too hard to emulate BTS instead of staying true to their own limits and skill level.
I give this performance a solid A from me. And I'm very picky about covers of this song. It was innocent, but all together harmonious at the same time. THAT is why this unit deserves to win.

Honestly, out of all the performances, this is the only one that has me coming back to re-watch (along with Fiction, but not as much). That's how much they killed it. To cover such a difficult song and deliver it as stable as they did, is amazing. Yeah, the positions were everywhere, but it worked in their favor because instead of getting something we were expecting, we got a great surprise in finding out how each member here is definitely well rounded in all positions, and for that, it's 1st place to me. ❤

As a Cassiopeia, I really approve this performance. Like the kids vocals are great overall. Wu Muti really pulled off the high notes. Even though the sexy feel of the song was not delivered, they made it into a wholesome cover that suits them so well. A lot may say that this group's performance is easier compared to the other one but at the end of the day, just like what Yesung told the performance team when he mentored them, they should also practice on their vocals and not just the performance. You can't give the audience a complete performance by only dancing or rapping perfectly, you can give everyone a complete and perfect performance if you were able to execute all elements of a performance (rap, dance, vocal) perfectly. And the Mirotic group gave this complete performance to us.
Ps. Excuse me but those people who says that the vocals for mirotic is easy compared to the other song, have you heard the original performance from the legends? Have you heard the strong, unique and high vocals of DB5K? Have you noticed how the legends play on their vocals while doing their ad-libs? DB5K may not have the best vocal techniques in KPOP but they have the best vocal harmonization and all five of them have different vocal colors. Randomly clicked this, I know nothing at all about this show but wow, the first 3 almost sang like the original TVXQ. In general, almost all of them did so well but the one who sang the first line caught my ears and my eyes the most. His dancing is good too. And the one who did the High-note is no joke too.

I come back to this performance every two months, it really left an impression on me. Their too good, idc they were robbed, they should have won.
As much as I love all UNDER NINETEEN groups, this one should win over Fake Love for me. It's a pity that Fake Love got matched up with a song that doesn't have a complicated choreo, but it was all decided on pure luck so we couldn't do anything about that. What's done is done and we're only looking at the performance is being served now. Fake Love team did an amazing job. They pulled of a hard song and they got complimented by JHOPE, an original artist of the song, plus the fact that the fans were satisfied by their output. Mirotic however, wins this for me. The group's composition is very great. The have this ; "If I didn't know this song, I never would've thought that they are just covering this" feel. The dancers can hit the high notes well, the rappers are front dancers and the vocals got in charge of the rap. What else is there to say? No group did bad, Mirotic just wins this battle for me.

Tho fake love did well, i tink mirotic deserve to win this round. The vocals is really tip top! I know fake love dance is hard which is why their vocals are a little unstable. But mirotic vocals all compliment each other and did you hear those harmonisations and multiple adlibs and that high note ? Wow. Tho their dance is not as hard as fake love, but still for mirotic its still hard to sing like that, harmonising and adlibs while dancing. Cz theres a risk of having it sound messy singing mutiple adlibs in one go. So for me, mirotic deserve to win. But both teams did great. Not saying the other team did badly. Its just that mirotic team earned more points from me.

If they need compare FL they need to do more song with hard choreo n not vocal song.. If they want compare mirotic, they cant choose FL who have hard choreo n diversed range. I just saw the Peak Time show and there was a group cover Mirotic. So I watched this video again because I remembered Under19 have this amazing group who covered Mirotic really well and I admit this is one of legend performance in Under19.

Differ with fake love, which the choreo is so intense, they need to shake their whole body in so many parts with the high pitch not just in singing but also in rapping, plus the formation keep changing for so many parts. Then how could people say this song is too safe? So is it their fault to perform with this song and go safe? They could've been in fake love team too .. and they are talented too, good dancers.. if you watch their other perf. Okey its safe maybe but if they are not talented they could have messed up but they didn't and they got the audience. Actually we cant compare team with focus on dance n rap with vocal group. The show need consider the song who suit to compare. For example, at least growl n FL have similar categories than mirotic FL. This is why, tje judge not give them score based on standart (choreo, vocal, performent, feeling, teamwork). Dont give song battle based on luck. 😪

Out of all the performances, this one drew me in the most. It was the most complete. The fact that their members are so well-rounded, meaning that they were not "stuck" in their "chosen position," made me fall for this group a lot more than Fake Love team. Everything about it makes me watch this performance on repeat.

I know people are saying that the only reason that team fake love vocals wasn’t good was because of how difficult the choreography is, which is true. But that doesn’t mean fake love deserves to win mirotic clearly did better. This felt like more of a performance and so professional unlike fake love which felt like a simple cover. People's counter argument is, "But Fake Love's choreography is way complicated," as if it justifies their vocal performance. If Fake Love team was really that good, they should be able to pull it off in both departments. Mirotic team has difficult vocals but they did not slack off in their choreography, did they? Competitions like this should be judged based on the overall performance. You cannot excuse a failure because theirs is a more complicated routine. But at the end of the day, kids voted for the group who performed the recently popular song.

Edit: i'm watching this in 2022 and wanna say both songs have different of difficulties. For fake love, dance is the hardest while in mirotic, the high notes is the hardest.
