    DB always impresses me with his ability to open packages with just tearing. I've since tried that method before tearfully using scissors. Also, macadamia nut shells look like chocolate!

      I was amazed at the brand name, in Hungary we basically have the orange flavor of that soda and that's it. But nice thing is, people make cakes out of this soda, we call it Mirinda slice 👀

    If you enjoy that corn salad, you should try mexican elote! We make a quick and cheap version at home just by heating up some corn, adding some mayo and parmesan cheese, and sometimes a squeeze of lime and chili powder. It's fantastic!

      @Shrike0064 for a cheap, easy way, I usually just take a can of corn, heat it up, and add about a spoon of mayo and sprinkle parmesan on top! The best way is to roast a corn on the cob and smear mayo and cotija cheese, plus a squeeze of lime and chili powder if you like!

    Cool looking store. I had a supermarket in my hometown that had food like this. My Chinese grandparents would take me to this store a lot as a kid..Always made sure to grab some Pork Hash each time I went.

      It could be because of the pricing. The lays chip bag he has is $1.23 where as that size of a lays chip bag can be around $3 over here if I'm remembering right. So $1.23 is a lot more reasonable for the amount one gets in that bag. Also because of ridiculous inflation of prices, most of us likely wouldn't care if our chips were all broken due to a chip bag not having air to protect it as long as we get an amount that would be worth the cost.

      They're actually quite different, Chocolate pie y'all see in de video are more influenced by western deserts, while moon cake are traditional Chinese desert that people eat in ZhongQiu festival (can't remember the date lol) as a traditional which people watch full moon at night.

    I love watermelon soda! In China, Coca-Cola sells Smart Watermelon (I've tried samples of it at the international Coke tasting thing they used to have at EPCOT at Disney World). Here in the States, we have watermelon flavor Crush and Mountain Dew Major Melon (the latter is brand new).

      Uh I actually have a asian import store near me for asianic goods. So there's many of the Japanese and Chinese even Korean and Cambodian imports. Of course I gotta ride the bus to get them. It's a bit expensive but never a regret.

    I would watch a 20 min. plus video of just the sounds from your balcony. Very peaceful, rain, traffic, birds- thunder. Just stick a drink there and we will watch it sweat 🙃

      DB is using a Sodastream, they've been around at least since the 90s we used to have one as kids 😊😊 so fun and they sell tons of different syrups, etc for different sodas.

      Um no. That is a Soda Stream! They have been around for decades. There are many other brands too. Its better to make your own sparkling drinks at home instead of buying plastic bottles.

    The slit and key in the nuts is clever! It means you can eat them as a snack without having to carry a nut cracker with you. A shame they come in so much packaging
