He used to do splits all the time...I think Reunion Tour 1996-1997 was the last time he did them. Interestingly, I remember the show I saw in March '97 he did one and seemed to have a little trouble getting back on his feet like he was stuck, I haven't seen him do any again after that.
It wouldn't do his hip replacements any favours.

Pauls voice currently sounds better when he's not with KISS trying to hit the high notes vs this more mello tune and I'm not being bias because I love listening to him in kiss but I just don't want to see him permanently damage his vocals and that he should rest his vocals and this is a great way for him to still sing and have fun

Thanks for posting. No offense, but this clip does,( audio ), Pauls' vocals no justice. Perhaps being that close to the stage is a contributing factor. There is another posting of one of Smokey Robinsons classic, "Tracks of my tears", he performs and Paul nails it! He's been ridiculed the past several years about his vocals that he can no longer sing; I agree to a certain extent, he can no longer sing KISS songs but outside the KISS, "box", he's good... Really good. Incidentally, is that Eric Singer on the drums?
+Dick Cranium Agreed that Paul doesn't sound his best here, but it was shot with a cell phone, close to the stage, and the venue didn't do a great job balancing the vocals with the rest of the band. We saw him again the next night at a different venue and the vocals were much better. Unfortunately we were not able to video anything from that show. And yes, Eric is playing drums for him.
