I've been a KISS fan since "74 or so. Always knew Paul was a special talent. Very versatile . he basically controlled whole show. Saw KISS 5X live. Amazing. Not only do I love SOUL STATION , the whole band as one amazing group. But how and where he found his 3 backup singer's. I absolutely love them all and they are second to NONE I've ever heard. Yes I'm a musician,
The funny thing is, Eric Carr was a hard hitting and heavy drummer for Kiss. That's the kind of music Eric Carr (RIP) used to play with his old band before joining Kiss in 1980. But Eric Singer, also did a fantastic job playing these classic Motown's hits. Give both these guys credit for the love of music.

I graduated in 1992, so every year lined up: I went into kindergarten in 1979, so then I finished out every grade in line with the 1980s. 84, I came out of fourth grade; 88, junior high graduation; 1990 I started my first job & came out of the 10th grade.... So Prince was there. Purple Rain was an early film that I've probably watched & rewatched more than any. That motorcycle scene was probably my earliest viewing of a naked woman (top down). Appolonia had the body. Regardless, Prince & Paul Stanley were my earliest guitar influences.

Been enjoying watching some of Mr. Stanley's stuff, very nice,, but I thought he was going to lead this great song, he could do it.. The girl is good though too, & hot..lol.. Be great if he would do some Mary Wilson Supremes stuff..
I LOVE Paul Stanley ..he's a great musician, great guy, sweet met him once, however, Motown in NOT his gig ! It's great that he loves soul and is putting himself out there ..but in my opinion he doesn't have "Soul Swagger" I'm glad he's having fun doing something different but if it's not broke why fix it ?

I am a Kiss fan of many years and also like Motown but I totally agree he has not got a voice for soul - I can barely hear him. If he likes Motown he should listen to it at home and sing along there like we all do. Sorry but that’s my opinion.
