The written instructions were great- we didn't need to watch the videos, but it was good knowing that the option was there if we needed it. After we were able to get it set up, the boys each rode 3 miles and I rode 8 and the bike stayed quiet. The display is easy to reset, and you can put it on whichever setting you are using (time, distance, calories, etc). I will say that my butt is a little sore from the seat, but that could be because I haven't rode in a while. While it is comfortable for me, it was not comfortable with the seat position for my friend (could not move the seat back far enough and he slightly looked like a kid riding a tricycle that he had outgrown). He also said that the seat hurt his manly parts. We are going to look for a different seat that will be compatible with this bike for him.I did purchase the Wahoo Cadence sensor and strapped it to the crank of one of the pedals. This will sync with my Apple Watch, iPhone and will import data in to my Health app. Wahoo does have other sensors available other than cadence. I can also keep either my phone or my iPad on the display and they both feel pretty secure.

GREAT Ride - All Simon/James rides are great. Simon is a fantastic presenter and James provides an excellent foil. Great duo. I'm a beginner (at 60, an old beginner) and really enjoy the rides. I have bookmarked ALL the dolomite rides.

The older GCN training vids, with beautiful scenery and Simon, are vastly superior to the new stuff! Just watching people in a gym isn't motivating. And James/Hank alone is a pain. Bring Simon back!!

This one! It's one of the toughest you guys offer. Those recoveries are so small and miniscule. Tough, tough, tough workout... also one of my favorites. Shut up, legs!

This session should come with a warning! I’m was a 40/20 virgin before this and I had no idea what I was letting myself in for. I was too stubborn to back off though and have that smug look of satisfaction on my face now. Nice work GCN

One of the toughest yet...thanks guys great for shifting the post Christmas pounds...I used my spin bike for this thing to simulate the gradient with resistance. All the best for 2019 from all the GCN fans in Scotland 🏴
Liking all of the GCN training sessions. A useful enhancement would be to set the beat of your jazzy background music to follow the cadence speed you call out on a given interval. That way we could watch more of the fabulous video images, just listening to the beat and know we're on cadence rather than constantly looking at our device screen. I guess you could just add a simple metronome tick in the background.
Packs a punch. Especially the second 40/20's. I thought they would never end!! Great session though for a quick but effective workout that will leave you with buckets of sweat at the end!!
