for a college book rec I literally just finished reading Before We Were Strangers by Renee Carlino last night and its about these two characters who meet their senior year at NYU in the late 90s and its also a second chance romance definitely became one of my favorite reads. It had a plot twist that I did not see coming and it did make me cry a little but overall had a happy ending but you should definitely read it. I read it in two sittings it was very fast-paced and addictive! also the characters seemed very realistic and developed, their friendship to lovers reminded me a little of Poppy and Alex from People We Meet on Vacation which is another one of my favorites

if you love characters who like to read “Words in Deep Blue” is perfect!! One of the main characters family owns a second hand library and i love their love for book

Yes to the random out of pocket hobby!! It's so underrated in books for sure. Most ppl irl have one so it's so fun when you discover that book characters have one too. Like when ppl find out I've been an F1 fan since I was a little girl & that I'm obsessed w cars they freak out bc they don't expect this asian girl studying to be a doctor to know the difference between a DOHC & SOHC engine 😂
2 cute contemporary romances set on a college campus that I liked: A Little Something Different (which has a really unique structure) and When Dimple Met Rishi (SO CUTE, the characters are in high school, but they’re on a campus for a college program). Also I know the book American Panda is set in college, but I haven’t read it yet
