I've been playing a Pianet T now for almost 15 years. The most roadworthy electric piano and a champ with handling pedals. Also, the sound of the Pianet T is so easy to modify. Just switch out the rubber hammers for sticky pads and move the pickups slightly closer to the reeds and you get way more bite out of it akin to the earlier Pianets.
It's nice to see Claudio doing the multi-instrumentalist work to fill in the skeleton of the song with all the right textures and flavors to improve the work.
I like all of Martinic plugins... They do a great job on them... Please keep them coming guys... The Pianet T is an amazing instrument... Such a pleasure as always to hear it with Doctor Mix at the helm... What a treat as well to see this recording session with this obviously talented young man working with the good Doctor @Abbeyroadinstitute ... ☮🔥🎹 ... 🌎☮NOW!
This was a great showcase of yours and his TALENT!!!! This has me feeling real giddy and joyful! Brightened up my day even more! Y'all keep staying oh so blessed!
Great video of a great instrument! As owners of a Hohner Pianet T we can safely say that Martinic nailed it! Both the original and the Martinic Pianet T are incredible musical instruments!
What a nice movie, Claudio!! You made my day with it. Thanks Mister Passavanti 🙂 ......... You are the best mix doctor regarding jazz music!! Love it! You are awesome. Best regards!
Had a Pianet T - fun how you can change the timbre by moving the 'suckers'. TBH, other than the sustain, the sim sound great and captures all the organic crunch. Dr MIx - really respect your love for organic stuff as well as the tech!
I love my old Pianet T. It has a sentimental family back story to it but I also love the sound and feel. This modeling sounds really good but I personally think that the feel of the actual instrument with the rubber suckers plays a bigger part in the result than the actual sound. The unpredictable latency on the lower notes and especially the lack of a sustain pedal forces you to play in a certain way. That said, your performance in this video was outstanding.
Thaaaaank youuuuuu ! . for sharing this video. Great song and vibe. I soo miss this place. I remember the live room in so many great moments I had in there. The great spontanious jams and when i played with my matrix brute synth along with our Keywizard V. .. :). Great experience and I can only recommend to get the great courses they are offering. Ciao :)
Glad to see Claudio seems to have moved past wearing the kraftwork outfit in all his videos. However I do miss all the red. Oh and as always Another great video sir!
Beautiful man, i'm going to make some music with Martins Pianet plug-in for sure! Where should one start to learn playing this type jazz/blues/funk as an intermediate piano player? Thnx!
DrMix this operation went perfectly well, the song should live perfectly healthy. Great tools for such a demanding work. The singer and author made me think of a french artist, Anis, a little bit less sophisticated voice but great songs, especially the album La Chance .. already 20years ago.. songs: Avec le vent Intégration Peut-être bien Reggablues ... It's a youth creation and a good one with many inspiration whose gipsy music is one Anis made a first album Gadjo Décalé, sel produced, which I loved to listen to, then it was mixed in La Chance , good production I think. Also around the same time an american friend gave me some recording of Ben Folds Five, never heard on french radios, great times. I wish you many successful operations Doctor !
So, Martinic’s reconstruction of the sound reflects on something different, largely unsung in keyboard history but still part of it. Would it reflects on is Roland’s Structured-Adaptive synthesis from the RD-1000, a method of synthesis that does not depend upon sampling at all and is strictly based upon analysis of a sound with the purpose of reconstructing it in the digital environment. Since the virtual Pianet T can be controlled from a sustain pedal, doesn’t that almost make it less like the classic and more like another Hohner keyboard, the Electra Piano played so memorably by John Paul Jones during the untitled fourth Led Zeppelin album and its follow-up, *Houses of the Holy?* That piano *does* have a sustainer system in its mechanics.
- Oops, I missed the premiere. Will watch it later. - I was busy today. Bought me a Boss Katana Mk2 guitar amp. And I was seduced by a lovely electric guitar. The red and white strat like Knopfler used on the Sultans of Swing album, but not as old. Gonna pick it up tomorrow. I'm renewing my love for guitar, after I was seduced by synths for a couple of years 😀
You should have let the singer play the piano because he was better at catching the feelings of the song. And the drums have to be more tight and in pocket. The idea is Great but the singer has to do the majority of playing the instruments and Dr. mix should just accent around whatever the Singer plays and sings, then you guy's will have a hit record. Great video..
I've just red ""The Pianet T introduced a very innovative electro-mechanical system where by vibrating reeds are plucked by plastic suction pads (patented by NASA)."" When a great studio makes a tube it's like launching a rocket .. When Dr Mix is the chief orchestrator you need many engineers with computers big enough to stay cool, you cannot afford the slightest bug, duck, cause the DrMix rocket boosters are monsters throwing tons of notes, vibrations, from very high to very low frequencies, tons of effects, rythms, each second ! This tells actually that no AI will ever beat a human composer.

Claudio flexing those musical muscles .Love it
It's nice to see Claudio doing the multi-instrumentalist work to fill in the skeleton of the song with all the right textures and flavors to improve the work.
The nice thing about a Pianet is that it also makes sound when not plugged in.
Awesome jazz/blues/funk, and what an amazing sound!

I worked 13 years at a commercial studio. I've been gone about 1 year and wow this makes me miss it. Great video! Also a great sounding Pianet.
All talent aside, that little Nord board is a great studio addition and sounds so natural.
This was a great showcase of yours and his TALENT!!!! This has me feeling real giddy and joyful! Brightened up my day even more! Y'all keep staying oh so blessed!

Dr mix is the number one to pimp up the groove ! And he proves that each time
Blown away, brilliant ! Thanks Claudio , just in time for starting into a great weekend :)
wonderful vibe, enjoyed the production being made. wow🎉
21:41 - 21:53 almost sounds like a jazz guitar, so warm and smooth. And then that beat drop, one two three... Nice! 😎
Very inspiring ❤
You captured the creative process not to test a synth but to actually make a song! Great stuff! Thank you!
What a nice movie, Claudio!! You made my day with it. Thanks Mister Passavanti 🙂 ......... You are the best mix doctor regarding jazz music!! Love it! You are awesome. Best regards!
Awesome to SEE the creative process happening!
this is one of your best videos ever, claudio. respect.

What a talented guy! I mean all of them.
I heard this song yesterday when I was checking out the plugin, it’s really great. I’m sold.
You have to make more videos like this!
Sounds really great!

Glad to see Claudio seems to have moved past wearing the kraftwork outfit in all his videos. However I do miss all the red.

Another great video sir!
Loved my old Hohner Pianet T! The only issue was that it had no sustain pedal. Interesting that they added it to the VST.
Sounds f…ing Real Man

That Shit is real hot Stuff …like the groovy Soul in all Parts ….Amazing Poeples ..
Beautiful man, i'm going to make some music with Martins Pianet plug-in for sure! Where should one start to learn playing this type jazz/blues/funk as an intermediate piano player? Thnx!

great track and musicianship. fun to see an original NL, that synth going on 30 years old now!
Wish I kept my NL1. It was super rad back in its day
Inspirational. 👍👍👍
omg, when I hear a count-in I feel like I forgot to grab my guitar but then "oh, it's just the video"
Speechless... nin zò che ddì...

20:46 Fabulous. I assume we're going to have the opportunity to download the mastered 2-channel track of this?
It's Cool! TH-cam lets set one like from one channel! But! I'm going to click many like from other channels! :)
The 2nd Like! :))
The 3rd Like! :))) It is Great!
This is 4th Like!
Dang i got one of these in the flesh... Really wish it had a sustain pedal
It's a nice instrument even though I'm a bigger fan of the Pianet N, which I hope you'd get the chance to play sometime :)
better than rhodes in my books
ufffffffffff! so beauty
Прекрасно)
Sounds great! But could have used some horns 🤗His voice reminds me a bit of Jamie Cullum!
Bro you did that......

7:55 I feel a Jamie Cullum influence here.

👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
Guy in full black at 20:08 is really handsome
I live in a small town with a bank, post office, bar, church, elementary school, etc. But if we had a music studio, everything else seems redundant.
Especially if we get hijacked by Claudio!
nice song
Is it available in CLAP? Linux?
Yes, available in CLAP format. No Linux support yet.
🖤
- Cool.
Hello .. I wish from you a remix of Michiel van der Kuy .. the king of the Spacesynth..
I'm really very excited
It reminds me the serie TAXI

The drums are perfectly in pocket, else they see it in their editing and redo it..
And the piano playing is very tasteful and fits really well. You can see him pour his soul and feeling into it. Go check your ears mate 😂
Selling my Pianet T to get Rhodes was the most bittersweet decision.
Why didn't he play the piano? He knows what he wants and he plays awesome.
Is this the Honher Pianet T electic piano Doctor Mix ?
Yup
Why no mantis video yet?
Very reminiscent of Nitin Sawhney..
hell no, now pianet-t are gonna sky rocket in price😅😅 cazzoooo
hahahahaha
what the hell is that IMAC INVASION in the background???
I've just red

Sounds quite similar to the ultra rare Hohner Cembelet
but not as similar as the Boner Quadruplet!
