Thanks for the great video Daniel and Gabo! Exercises: 1. Shrimp Squat 2. Nordic Curls 3. Split Squat 4. Back Arch Ups 5. Squatted Calf Raises Lots of details to gather here, so I do recommend watching the whole video!
I used to dance flamenco. From a dancer's perspective, these exercises are superior, helping to create equilibrium and working stabilizing muscles that a dancer depends on. I've also been slacking on my leg workouts 😟, so this video and your tips couldn't have come at a better time!👍
This is helpful to see someone who is obviously quite fit doing this for the first time. Videos for beginners showing wobbly beginnings and how to stabilize are instructive.

You and Saturno have very good chemistry, very relaxed and mindfull ❤my leg day, thanks to you guys, is now like this: horse stance 4 sets nordic curls 4 sets reverse nordic curls 4 sets calves 4 sets And all like how you describe them, and it feels great! 💪 thank you for the great videos!
thank you for adding another dimension to bodyweight exercise, I would have never thought to incorporate these exercises on my own, thank you for bringing these exercises to our attention, well done
The "slow" should be seen as CONTROLLING the workout instead of it controlling you. When you are tired or it is tough, you want to rush through it disabling some of the affects. When you take it slow, YOU are in control of the workout and forcing your muscles to get the FULL workout in. Love the videos man
Daniel, I like a lot your exercises without any weight, in particular without anything... they are the best as you can do them anywhere. It's so convenient ! Thank you.
This is pure gold, I do not have access to gyms in my country for vaccine requirements (4 doses) thank you, each of your videos is pure gold, excellent explanation
Very cool to see someone that is already really fit, learn a new motion. Thanks for posting this. I love this kind of content that shows the tips and corrections.

Dude, what an amazing video! It's hard to workout legs in calisthenics because of the lack of volume, if you know what I mean. It's amazing to see something like this! Thank you so much!!!
EXCELLENT I needed a video like this a while back! THANK YOU. If I may "keeping the back straight" may suggest unnecessary tension vs "keeping your back lengthen" thats what the Alexander technique teaches.
Bro! Idk if you remember me but I'm friends with Marcos and Luis. We had a pull up contest at your place a while back. It's cool to see you're also deep into the calisthenics community. What a small world.
You really put him through it! This makes me want to post my personal Lower Body workout I've been doing. I hit everything in my legs I swear! That Soleus exercise is something I might need to try though.
I know I'm late to the party but these two have some awesome chemistry and these exercises are good and the explanations are even more so. Anyone can do an exercise but only true pros can break them down to progress or regress them for everyone. Keep up the great work FITNESSFAQS and I hope to keep seeing collabs in for channels.
I will you love your channel amazing videos amazing content yes I never skip leg in fact legs are the best part in the body that you need to work in the day brings you a lot of amazing results they help you grow they help you with your testosterone.
Knee past the toe, even weighted, is the key to knee health. Weighted, once trained, it’s key. Weighted sissy squats bullet proof the knees the key is PROGRESSING there.
You should try it man. You don't need to stop going to the gym if you don't want to, just exercise planche progressions and such on rest days, be careful the first times it might be difficult and hinder your progress at the gym, but after a while it will even help with compound movements thanks to its strengthening the core and such
Bruh, Bodyweight training / Calisthenics / Gymnastics training and Heavy Weight Lifting go hand in hand, they compliment each other so much it’s amazing. Your Major Lifts (Deadlifts, Squats, Overheads, Bench, Thrusts, Rows, Curls... all helps you with things like Planche and Front Lever on Bars, Hand-Balancing and Flipping motions, and that in turn helps astronomically with sports like Jujitsu, Climbing and Rugby/Footy. Calisthenics keeps you Mobile so you can use all your strength in different positions that most weightlifters would injure themselves in.
Dude, you rock!! I love your work! Your videos are great! Super information, well explained concise without overtalking :-) exercises are stellar!! Thank you!
Their upper bodies are well developed but their legs are quite small. These exercises will produce improvement for about 6 weeks and then you'll be adapted to them and there will be no more improvement in strength. To get strong legs you need to do weighted exercises like barbell squats and deadlifts, where you progressively add more weight to progressively overload the muscles. That's how you get strong legs.
I hope there are not many of us who fucked up their hips by one leg calisthenics work. A few warnings maybe would have helped me or regresions like learning extensively the hip hinch with one leg. Can we please have a any of that or similar stuff for the new people arriving every day? 😇
*These are great to build muscles you've probably been neglecting but you won't gain no true size in your legs unless you add some resistance to it....whether it's a band or some weights you want your legs to really blow you gotta add it in*
@@christophergreen2106 I mean, legs become much stronger with weights...not something spectacular, but 90-100 kg squats (high rep range) myb Though, I agree
Calisthenics Leg movements can bring so much to your mobility its ridiculous, plus most of the time complementary exercises that work forgotten muscles around the hip etc. Are done with body weight.
even squatting with your knees past your toes isn't a bad thing....assuming proper depth and form. Just comes down to leverages and the level of mobility you have.
Hi Daniel. Been a major fan for a long time now. My leg workouts have been severely halted ever since I started experiencing knee pain (right knee, just above the kneecap) Could you maybe do a knee strengthening exercise or direct me to a good routine? Cheers mate
Hi, Could you post a video about complete leg strengthening (abductors, VMO isolation hips etc)for people with very weak muscles, like recovering after a surgery or very atrophied muscles?
The important question is...did he build his legs without weights? I get skeptical of videos like this in the calisthenics community, claiming you´re gonna get "strong legs" intentionally omitting how hard is to build legs without weight training.
Erin Alice He have said many times the best way to built legs it’s weight training, but it is not imposible to do it using body weight only, it’s just harder.
He didnt. And he dont denied, he has vídeos about using weigh. This is just a vídeo about how to train your legs with your bodyweith. Not everyone is focusing on just getting bigger.
It's definitely possible to build amazing legs and glutes, with only your bodyweight though, there is a Brazilian channel named Resposta Fitness full of super rare content for legs with amazing and hard exercises that I only found there and I am using them a couple months now and my legs are definitely bigger, better and stronger. Btw the guy of that channel has incredible legs with only bodyweight, I recommend it
