Thank you for another informative video Lorelei! My little guy was store bought for $50. He was a graduation gift and a pandemic pet given to me by my mother. It took me months to bond with him, he had a lot of fur issues. He was balding in weird areas. He was always scratching too. I was nervous but I never gave up on him. Due to my previous experiences with losing my bunnies when I was younger, I really dedicated my time to research and learn so much. Thanks to you and all the research that I have done, he has been a healthy boy at 2 years young now, he loves to flop and do zoomies. He is my best friend and he lounges while I grade homework or just do work in general. Thank you for all your great advice Lorelei, I try to pass on your knowledge to new bunny owners that I meet. With Easter coming around, a lot of people want rabbits and I make sure to explain what the reality of owning one is.
I have two mini holland lops (paid for one and bought the other because her sale fell through) and adopted an albino rex with a single mane from a hoarding case. I didn’t realize my babies had a price, they’re priceless to me ❤
Beautiful ending ❤ so true Sometimes it’s about doing what’s right. My daughter came home with our Netherland dwarf, she had nursed back to health while working at a pet wholesale place... they wanted to put her down. We had 6 wonderful years with her instead 💔 🕊
I adopted a mini Rex for $85. He was already neutered and litterbox trained. He was 5 years old and sad he didn't have a forever home yet. He was the first bunny I was shown when I got to the rescue house and I was instantly in love. He purred the first time I pet his head and I knew he was mine. He's 6 now and extremely spoiled, healthy, and happy

I loved the breakdown of their personalities on the first few - it described my two bunnies personalities (a mini lop & lionhead) so perfectly! I always just thought it was from whatever they experienced before we adopted but now I see it's more a trait of their breed. Very cool.
I have a pedigreed English Angora who I paid $350 for! So they can definitely cost a lot more then just $300. Even though pricey she was worth every penny I love my girl❤
I rescued my albino rabbit from our yard. We think she was an Easter gift that grew up, and someone put her outside when they didn't want her anymore. She was discovered in our garage, and she's been with us a year. We love her!
We adopted a pair from a rescue in London last week. They're bonded and love their new home, they're some kind of lop cross. Adoption of rabbits isn't very well established in the UK yet, there are lots of well run dog and cat rescues, but rabbits rarely have their own dedicated rescues, and the one's that do exist are usually run by well meaning but overrun individual volunteers. The selling of rabbits needs to be better regulated to take the strain of these rescues.

I had a cute and very intelligent lion head, she knew how to open doors and hop out to the living room and do soo many tricks like turn around and high fives. When I took her to the vet one day and carried her on a carrier with me to go for a quick grocery shopping, I felt soo bad because she went running to her litter box for a very long pee😢 but I think the lion head should be number one in my list lol Thank you for sharing this video I always enjoy watching your channel❤
The last lennonthebunny video i watched was the trailer video and i legit cried bcz the day before watching that a lost my lil Milo baby... the day after watching it i lost my Misty baby... (lost as in they passed) i had them for two weeks, Milo it was two weeks by the day and Misty was two weeks and two days... they were 8 weeks exactly i think when i got them and they are a big reason why in future i will always adopt spayed/neutered bunnies Also nobody should ever pressure or be pressured to get a pet that they are not ready for x Edit: ooh they were mini lops and £50 each lol bargain
Thank you Lorelei as always for your wonderful content. To be honest I hate that they make some rabbits be born in short lived and unhealthy bodies for the sake of breeding, but I prefer to hear it all from you as usual. Many thanks and keep it up!
My current bunny was adopted with his late partner. I actually had my adoption fee waived, because they were repeat surrenders and had a hard time getting adopted. However my bun has health issues that the shelter missed so he is my most expensive in vet bills. 😭still worth it
I really appreciate the fact that you talk about adopting even in this video this is very important ! Thank you for that and for all I learnt in this video
I literally almost died because of the price that I saw on the two rexes 💀 I also love your vids with Lennon please make more rabbit hauls to if you can!
thtas so insane on how expensive little buns can be! ( i love your channel sooo much! if itwerenot for you, my rabbit would have been in a little cage in the garage! ❤🐰
I've had 6 bunnies in total. 4 of them were siblings. 3/4 of them were Lion Heads. They were Flemish giant/Lion Head mixes. Another of the 6 lived with them for a while. We got 2 of them when they were a few months old and the other 2 and the other that lived with them when they were older. The other bunny, our most recent addition, was rescued by my aunt in her back yard. She knew we had bunnies so she asked us about taking her and we decided to. She's the only girl bunny we've had out of the 6 and she's an albino Lion Head. She litter trained herself and she's very clean and a good bunny. Besides her, we still have the other bunny that wasn't one of the siblings. All of our bunnies were free. ❤
My buns were from someone who was told that her buns were both neutered males - they weren’t , they had 40 buns at one point . They weren’t charging for the buns . I hope they all went to good homes
Oh, wow. My Buddy is a Mini Lop! I didn't realize he cost so much... (He was originally my younger brother's girlfriend's bunny, but due to a lot of circumstances, we ended up adopting him. They come over every weekend, and she always says hi and plays with him when they do, and he knows her voice and gets super happy to see her! It's adorable!)
When I was getting my bunnies I originally tried going through a rescue but it seemed like they were judging me as a "hardcore male who's probably gonna feed them to his snake" or something. So I went to a pet store instead and it must've been both of our lucky days bc I met a litter of 8 week old Rex's. The dude originally told me $400 a piece. So I was planning on getting 2 so they can grow up together, but then they only ended up charging me $50 per bun. But I think the fact that they got to grow up with me in the same home and never having been through being abandoned, or bouncing from shelter to shelter or being abused, I think has it's advantages. Both of my buns are perfectly house trained buns. Never to this day did either of them pee in the house. Or poop even for that matter. From 8 weeks old they knew exactly how to bunny 😆 they are like my little kids
Their mother probably litter box trained them, as with kittens. I suppose it wouldn't have helped to say, "uh, I'm totally not going to feed them to my snake."
Awww, I got my two for £40 each from a sanctuary. They weren't spayed/neutered because the sanctuary can't afford that, but they were vaccinated. They were about 10 weeks old when I got them and they're litter-mates. Maple is a Harlequin Lionhead and Ash is an Opal Agouti Lionhead 🥰 Ash is definitely single-maned, but Maple has a much thicker coat so she could be double 🤷🏼♀️ their mum and sister have standard coats and their mum was so friendly. I'm sad I didn't have the space for all four 😔
I love your videos they are very educative. I have a bunny named Minchu we've only made it so far because of you .Thank you so much 💗. As always love you and lennon so much 💗💜💙💚🧡💛❤
Our shelter adopts out rabbits for $45. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, litter box trained. You get a 3 hour class on rabbit care and a year’s membership in the House Rabbit Society. And you get ongoing support & free nail trims. We get all sorts of breeds, colors, and sizes. My sweet brown agouti lop/chinchilla mix may not have the status of some other rabbits but she is sweet natured and perfect for me. Adoption is definitely the way to go.
My bunny is a lionhead and let me tell you, the personality bit was spot on! He’s probably one of the sassiest animals I own, but he will not come out of hiding if I’ve got a friend over! He warms up to them pretty quickly, but he’s still a bit jumpy even then
8:09 Well I never would’ve thought my BunBun (aka Tiny Dictator) would be of such a historically expensive breed. 😂 But I guess that explains why she has expensive taste and acts like she owns the place. 😅
Same I have 3 Holland Lops but I'd love a French Lop one day and a Velveteen Lop and Mini Plush Lop not all at once but eventually I'd also love some Mini Rex and Mini Lops some day I'm a big softy for Lops and Rex fur bunnies and the silky fur of Lion heads love it so much all 3 of my Holland Lops have different fur textures and they're own unique personalities I love them so much
I have a Holland lop or a mini lop but I’ll just called it a lop my bunny name is Roxy she’s female and she is 2 months old so the other rabbit I had came smaller but the Roxy was bigger so pixy might had some problems so that’s how she died 😢 but Roxy is a healthy bunny bun
I got an award winning Holland lop pure breed for 40 euros because he was 3 and had a litter so 'written off'. He's the most loving bunny I've ever had! Sleeping on my lap or stomach, chasing you through the house, giving you kisses 24/7. Doesn't matter the price, it's the character that counts:)
Wow I was not expecting the rex to be #1 since in my observation and experience, they are on the cheaper side. I have an American rex I fell in love with and adopted despite wanting an English lop- but it's as you said: it's important to prioritize the bunny themselves rather than an idealized breed if you find one you fall in love with.. which I did. ♥ That being said, I'm surprised english lops didn't make the list at all?
Surprised too now that you mention it but lops in general have lots of health issues (particularly English lops) so its maybe best it’s left out :( I wanted one too but the health issues are way to risky for me in my opinion
@@sunglowwolf-7917 That is true, I've heard their ears are incredibly prone to infections. Do you know what other health issues they're easily prone to?
It doesn't matter what breed it is or what colour or size it is, for me every single Rabbit is priceless even if it's a Wild Rabbit i.e. Cottontail. ♥️♥️♥️
I have a holland lop named Harry, hes orange and white. I actually got him for free on craigslist. He was already free roaming wich was a good thing and he is currently also free roaming my room. Best thing is to always adopt rather than buying, there are tons of amazing rabbits in shelters in need of a loving home. I don't care about the breed, I love rabbits, it just turned out I got a holland lop and I love my boy.
Every breed is so uniquely beautiful. I often struggle with how they can be so adorable, and if we even deserve these magical souls. I once had to move from CA to PA and fought ridiculously hard to get my bunny with me in my seat on a flight. They will always try to get you to store your animals under the plane. I said your literally asking me to let my pet suffer a horrible death. I’m not going to lie, and I’m not proud of this but I had to have my now ex husband pull out his military ties for them to even listen to us. Funny all of the sudden then they were willing to allow my rabbit to fly with me. And allowed me to get scanned by the machine without my rabbit having to go through it at all. Everyone who saw her instantly smiled like a little child and gushed over her cuteness. Which honestly filled my heart with joy that so many were smitten over her. It’s just a shame that you have to be considered “important “ to get people to understand your worries and needs. If my ex hadn’t been in the military idk if we would of been accommodated. I told him I wouldn’t leave without knowing for sure that she was allowed on my lap, and if they denied me when we got there, I wouldn’t be getting on the flight.
Love your channel! My bunny made the list mini-Rex who sadly passed away 2 1/2 years ago. Had him almost 13 years. I did not know there was so much bunny love! I wish I knew your show while he was alive. I will most likely not get another bunny because he can't be replaced.❤
Omgg!! I just opened yt and what I see.. NEW VIDEOOOO! Lorelei tell lennon that she is adorable and that we love her sm!! Thsnks to you, our rabbjt has Access to the whole house!! Earlier i said that he has a Cage to use litter box and eat. But now HE HAS A WHOLE FREAKING MANSION TO EXPLORE!! If not thanks to u, he would be kept in a Cage..
Thank you so much for the informational videos! They're helping so much for a bunny I will soon get in the future! One question though.... My parents are not allowing me to keep it indoors. I've tried explaining but they just don't get it, if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions I would really appreciate it!
Be careful what you wish for when you get a mini lop, my little boy was tiny a year ago, now he’s hella fluffy, 9 pounds and huge for a mini lop :, ) (he also isn’t overweight, he has a balanced diet of high quality hay, pellets and veggies)
My boy is Mini lop and angora maybe jersey wooly. The vet doesn't know But he is very lop in behavior just soooooo fluffy. Anyway Lennon is adorable and I love your cutaways to her at the end, always fills me with joy.
as someone who has a mini lop and a lionhead, i had no idea they were this expensive, at least in the us! we got our minilop for $50 and our lionhead for $35, both from experienced bunny owners and both vaccinated! :0

I 'shopped' for my two angoras but I'm a spinner. I was more picky about the living conditions than the bloodlines. Mine are primarily pets but they are still WORK, I wouldn't suggest them for anyone who isn't into fiber arts because you need to brush multiple times a week and you need high protein feed.
Just found out through this video that our big girl is a continental mixed with Belgian hare 😯 We got her from a family that had an accidental litter, only wanted 20€ for her (got her when we still lived in Germany) - So didn’t have to pay a grand and also wouldn’t have 😂 Lucky surprise I guess? She’s the sweetest girl, super needy almost like a dog, so glad we got her 😄 Also her partner is a minilop and the two of them together is just adorable 🤣 But yeah, the German breed name we got was Deutscher Riese (German Giant) mixed with Hasenkaninchen (rabbitbunny) - So we never knew the official English terms for it, the more you know!
We rescued a 1 year old lopped ear lionhead and he beautiful and we love him so much but he has alot of health issues and our vet said that his Breed is prone to breathing issues because they are the pug of rabbits and his little nose is pushed in as intended.. poor bud is always at the vet for something but he is happy and we Will do whatever it takes to keep him that way
We got a mini Rex and netherland dwarf for free! The breeder literally gave them to us after we fell in love with them,as she couldn’t breed from them anymore.
My bunny was all warm and soft. I used to kiss her little face and tickle her whiskers! She used to sleep with me in my bed when it was cold outside. She was only supposed to last for 4-6 years and ended up living until she was 8 1/2 she only died because she got bunny cancer! Her fur was so silky and soft. She was as docile as pie! she used to let me pet her for hours a day. I fed her fruit and veg as well as dandelions and herbs she liked. She was not just a pet, but a best friend too, little cutie that she was!!!! RIP
I used to have lion heads. They weren't recognized forever. But now they are well known. I'm getting a house bunny in May. Your videos has tought me a lot. As I was small, I showed bunnies, and it was just normal for them to be in cages so we thought lol. Now I'm fully 100 percent set that cages are awful. I wouldn't ever put my bun in one. But that's a part of growing, I guess. I'm also going to a rescue to get him or her. I'm so very excited. I bred rexes and created a good line. But I feel so awful and guilty that. But
Yay! We came in at number 9. My Ramona is a black Lion head.. she's intelligent. One of our games we love to play is pillow fight at her level. I toss the pillow to her, she mimics me and tosses the pillow back to me, and we go back and forth. Hence pillow fight at her level..
all so cute. but where i am all of them go for under about $250!! the one i have that cost the most was my lionhead. hes from a show breeder but didnt make the cut. so hes my baby now, still paid a bit for him!!
I used to have a lion-head!❤ now I have a mix of Angora, mini rex, loinhead and lop. My vets said) I bought him before I started watching your videos and now I know what to do. I free roam him in my house❤❤💖
I absolutely love your channel and I am about to watch this video! Recently one of my rabbits passed away bc he 2as really sick. I still have 3 other rabbits although 2 of them share an area together and the other one used to share an area with my rabbit that passed. He seems very upset. We give him plenty of attention but he seems to be very sad. Do u have any idea that we can do to help him get over the loss of his companion? ❤️

I had a cute and very intelligent lion head, she knew how to open doors and hop out to the living room and do soo many tricks like turn around and high fives. When I took her to the vet one day and carried her on a carrier with me to go for a quick grocery shopping, I felt soo bad because she went running to her litter box for a very long pee😢 but I think the lion head should be number one in my list lol
Thank you for sharing this video I always enjoy watching your channel❤
The last lennonthebunny video i watched was the trailer video and i legit cried bcz the day before watching that a lost my lil Milo baby... the day after watching it i lost my Misty baby... (lost as in they passed) i had them for two weeks, Milo it was two weeks by the day and Misty was two weeks and two days... they were 8 weeks exactly i think when i got them and they are a big reason why in future i will always adopt spayed/neutered bunnies
Also nobody should ever pressure or be pressured to get a pet that they are not ready for x
Edit: ooh they were mini lops and £50 each lol bargain
Thank you Lorelei as always for your wonderful content. To be honest I hate that they make some rabbits be born in short lived and unhealthy bodies for the sake of breeding, but I prefer to hear it all from you as usual. Many thanks and keep it up!
My current bunny was adopted with his late partner. I actually had my adoption fee waived, because they were repeat surrenders and had a hard time getting adopted. However my bun has health issues that the shelter missed so he is my most expensive in vet bills. 😭still worth it
Our rabbit Cheddar was $75 from Bunny Bunch Rescue 💕
I really appreciate the fact that you talk about adopting even in this video this is very important ! Thank you for that and for all I learnt in this video
I literally almost died because of the price that I saw on the two rexes 💀 I also love your vids with Lennon please make more rabbit hauls to if you can!
thtas so insane on how expensive little buns can be! ( i love your channel sooo much! if itwerenot for you, my rabbit would have been in a little cage in the garage! ❤🐰
OMG YOU LIKED MY COMMENT IM FREAKING OUT RIGHT NOW TYSM
I got my rabbit for 1000 i got him for my birthday the owners did not want him but he is so so so so so soooo cute❤ and i love your channel so MUCH❤❤❤
Wow I love bunny’s
What an informative list and very entertaining!! I am so surprised by #1
All of my bunnies are in this list. But as far as we're concerned, they're priceless!
I love your videos they are very educative. I have a bunny named Minchu we've only made it so far because of you .Thank you so much 💗. As always love you and lennon so much 💗💜💙💚🧡💛❤
I love Lennon and u are a great mum to her
Our shelter adopts out rabbits for $45.
I had 2 Netherland Dwarf rabbits years ago. One lived to be 13yr and the other 18yr. Wonderful pets and companions.
My bunny is a lionhead and let me tell you, the personality bit was spot on! He’s probably one of the sassiest animals I own, but he will not come out of hiding if I’ve got a friend over! He warms up to them pretty quickly, but he’s still a bit jumpy even then
I adopted my bunnies in 2018 now they are now 4 nearly 5 years old wow❤❤❤
8:09 Well I never would’ve thought my BunBun (aka Tiny Dictator) would be of such a historically expensive breed. 😂 But I guess that explains why she has expensive taste and acts like she owns the place. 😅
😂😂
I currently have a holland lop, but have been wanting to add in a French lop too ❤❤I’ve been watching for 4 years and find your vids very helpful
Same I have 3 Holland Lops but I'd love a French Lop one day and a Velveteen Lop and Mini Plush Lop not all at once but eventually I'd also love some Mini Rex and Mini Lops some day I'm a big softy for Lops and Rex fur bunnies and the silky fur of Lion heads love it so much all 3 of my Holland Lops have different fur textures and they're own unique personalities I love them so much
@@maryneedham419 same ,I just want all the cute lops ☺️❤️❤️I’ve had three all at different times and they’ve all had different personalities
By son is about to get a giant Flemish cross mini lop and his personality and the connection makes him the unique PERFECT rabbit
I have been a fan since 4 years ago
I got an award winning Holland lop pure breed for 40 euros because he was 3 and had a litter so 'written off'. He's the most loving bunny I've ever had! Sleeping on my lap or stomach, chasing you through the house, giving you kisses 24/7. Doesn't matter the price, it's the character that counts:)
I love you and Lennon so freaking muchhh💕💖💕💖💕
Great video. One can not put a logical price tag on an animal anyway, in my opinion!
@@Bakuraliciouss mainly the ear drums but Their ears can get infections easily cuz they can accidentally put them in the water bowls
It doesn't matter what breed it is or what colour or size it is, for me every single Rabbit is priceless even if it's a Wild Rabbit i.e. Cottontail. ♥️♥️♥️
I just adopted a rehomed bunny boy. He's a harlequin, and he has velvet fur. He's very sweet and playful 🥰
Great video as always!!
Sending love from California 💗💗
Tysm for starting yt! Without ur channel I would know why less about a rabbits life and more :)))!
Thank you so much for educating me on important bunny facts that make my rabbit live a deathly happy life.
uh, deathly?
@@lazyhomebody1356 no
Hey Lennon! Just wanted to say thank you. I’ve been wanting a rabbit and you really helped me understand them!
Man that was a fast heart lol
Oh I was gonna breed my buns and I also love them so so much!😊
Ty so much Lorlei can u maybe do anothe4 part of amazon bunny shopping?!
Love that have a harlequin cross breed. Not surprised by rex being high as their coats are extra soft and always wanted to get some rescue rex
I think soon i might have a rabbit, im so excited😊❤
No wonder their so expensive their ADORABLE
Love your channel! My bunny made the list mini-Rex who sadly passed away 2 1/2 years ago. Had him almost 13 years. I did not know there was so much bunny love! I wish I knew your show while he was alive. I will most likely not get another bunny because he can't be replaced.❤
I love you Lennon ❤ you helped my bunny
I got my rabbit for $12 at a meat farm In ohio. I love this video!😁
Haha that’s funny I think I got my lion head bunnies for like $50 and they have a good main… they are the cutest ❤❤
Just asking I have a mix at home of a harlequin and a mini lop their ears in winter are up and summer down is that special?
I love all the rabbits in this video❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love your vids 🤩🤩💞💕 I have a holland lop I love him soo much 💜
Can you make a video on the worlds biggest rabbit 🐇?!?
Wow! My purebred pedigreed show bred bun was only $20!
A bit of bunny history… we approve.
Thank you so much for the informational videos! They're helping so much for a bunny I will soon get in the future! One question though.... My parents are not allowing me to keep it indoors. I've tried explaining but they just don't get it, if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions I would really appreciate it!
Tomorrow is my 1 year anniversary of getting my rescue rabbit.
As much as I love your content, you prices aren't going from least to most, they're like randomly shuffled
This channel CONSTANTLY and consistently gives me the AWWWWW 🥹❤️ Thank you for promoting adoption!
*Me turning to my Harlequin and Mini Rex I got from the shelter* look guys, you're royalty!
Be careful what you wish for when you get a mini lop, my little boy was tiny a year ago, now he’s hella fluffy, 9 pounds and huge for a mini lop :, ) (he also isn’t overweight, he has a balanced diet of high quality hay, pellets and veggies)
My rabbit is mini lop❤!
I'm cost 60$
My boy is Mini lop and angora maybe jersey wooly. The vet doesn't know But he is very lop in behavior just soooooo fluffy.
Anyway Lennon is adorable and I love your cutaways to her at the end, always fills me with joy.
as someone who has a mini lop and a lionhead, i had no idea they were this expensive, at least in the us! we got our minilop for $50 and our lionhead for $35, both from experienced bunny owners and both vaccinated! :0
The last lennonthebunny video i watched was the trailer video and i legit cried bcz the day before watching that a lost my lil Milo baby... the day after watching it i lost my Misty baby... (lost as in they passed) i had them for two weeks, Milo it was two weeks by the day and Misty was two weeks and two days... they were 8 weeks exactly i think when i got them and they are a big reason why in future i will always adopt spayed/neutered bunnies

the one in the thumbnail is adorable 😭
From what I can tell by how my bunny looks, he is an English spot mixed with a lionhead and I got him for $15 on Facebook marketplace lol.
I have a Californian albino rabbit he was gift🤍🐇
Mine is a lop / lipnhead and she has the most luxurious mane. With fur tufs around her rub, and long tufs around her ears.
Rescued Is My Favourite Breed!
I would’ve thought a European teddywidder would make the list! I just found about this breed, super cute
I used to have a lion-head!❤ now I have a mix of Angora, mini rex, loinhead and lop. My vets said) I bought him before I started watching your videos and now I know what to do. I free roam him in my house❤❤💖
Adopt.....NEVER SHOP. I love this channel, and enjoyed this as an educational bun vid!
Adopt OR shop RESPONSIBLY
I absolutely love your channel and I am about to watch this video! Recently one of my rabbits passed away bc he 2as really sick. I still have 3 other rabbits although 2 of them share an area together and the other one used to share an area with my rabbit that passed. He seems very upset. We give him plenty of attention but he seems to be very sad. Do u have any idea that we can do to help him get over the loss of his companion? ❤️
