I love the color of your patio set!! Great deck!
Hahaha thanks mom 🤣
I loved Immortal Longings too!
Yes!!! Team Immortal Longings!
I love how with every new video we see different part of the house. It's kind of a slow house tour for people that watch every video, haha.
Nettle and Bone was a good book. I would give it maybe 4 stars?
I'm also waiting for Vilest Things. I love that cover you showed, but I also love the other one. I will see which one looks prettier when we get them (we got both covers in Polish edition, so I hope they will do it again for that one). Thankfully they're both the same format, so I can chose.

I'm waiting for Polish edition of Sword of Kaigen, which will come out in the middle of July; then Wind and Truth in December. Also I will be trying to get "Powerful" and "Reckless" by Lauren Roberts as soon as it gets translated, because grandma LOVED the first book. Like, she asked me to bring her second book, which almost never happens. So it must've been really good.
And I can't wait for English translation of 4th Inkheart book by Cornelia Funke (the tittle is "The Colour of Revenge". I already got it in German, but I can't understand anything). I don't remember, if I talked about it before? If you haven't read Inkheart, I really recommend it! It's a middle grade/ YA series about a girl whose father can bring items from books he reads out loud, who once accidentaly let a villain from a book to the real world, and now the villain is looking for them. In later books the action moves to a fantasy world and it gets much much better. (The first book was great too, but it had a very slow start).

You're probably wondering what about my Locked Library - well, still no May box. I wrote to the customer service if they know what's happening. In the meantime, they send the June box, so I'm waiting for it now.
Yeah it's basically a slow reveal since the house still isn't put together 😁
I JUST looked at the Vilest Things UK cover and I'm speechless. It's gorgeous.
Sword of Kaigen is definitely on my list of books to read so that's awesome that it's releasing in Polish. OMG I love that your grandma read and loved Powerless. That's another series on my to read list.
I read Inkheart when I was a kid and it was my favorite series, but I don't think I ever finished it. I think I read the first two? I may think about revisiting it since it had such a cool concept.
I'm seriously so mad about your Locked Library box. I hope the June one at least shows up and maybe they dispatch you a new May box.
@@kimberlyreads They did send me a new May box! Looks like it will arrive a day or two after the June one. I've seen how the June book looks like, and it's absolutely gorgeous.
@@Akuliszi YES!!!! that is amazing to hear!
Wrote down some of these in my book wishlist journal. Cant wait ti check some of these out. 📚🧋🌈🍄🍉🍨🍓
I can't wait for your horror vlog! You always say such interesting things about it.
Aww thank you! I'm almost finished with it so hopefully it will come out this coming week!
I'm looking forward to the Riley Sager book too. I never got a response for the NetGalley request and assume it's a no lol. I didn't hate Immortal Longings, but I didn't love it either. I will probably get the OwlCrate edition for the second book since I have the first one but I won't be dropping any books to rush and read it. I haven't loved the T. Kingfisher books I've read so far but willing to give that one a shot. Maybe I will like it because it's a different genre? The other upcoming books I look forward to are:
Shadows of Perl by J. Elle
Apprentice to the Villain by Hanna Nicole Maehrer
The Haunting of Hecare Cavendish by Paula Brackston
Reckless by Lauren Roberts
Black Bird Oracle by Deborah Harkness
Dragonfall by R.L. Lam
Born of Blood and Ash by Jennifer Armentrout
Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout
The Songbird and the Heart of Stone by Carissa Broadbent
The Boyfriend by Freida McFadden
Fear the Flames by Olivia Rose Darling
Might be some that I'm missing but I think that list is long enough lol.
Yeah I never got a response for the Riley Sager book either. They probably just stopped responding once they sent out a certain number of copies.
I still have so many first books to read so I didn't add Reckless or Apprentice to the Villain. I hadn't even heard of The Boyfriend by Freida McFadden. I cannot keep up with all her releases!
I have nettle and bone but haven't read it. I thought thornhedge was OK, but not great. I don't know if my expectations were too high or if it was because it was a novella and didn't really go in depth into anything. Anyway, I did pick up my copy of wren and the Holly library and was so impressed by all the customizations. They really stepped it up.
Wren and the holly is literally disgusting beautiful. I GASPED when I saw under the dust jacket. It's unfair for something to look that stunning.
Other publishing companies are really going to have to pick up their game to match Red Tower books
Have you heard of “death of a bookseller”?! I am conflicted with it. You could tell the author was trying to instill a sense of panic but I don’t think it was executed well. Also hated the ending. But her overall commentary and seeing two ppl obsessed but in entirely different ways with true crime was interesting.
Yes I've heard of it! It was an Aardvark pick a few months ago and I thought about getting it, but I hadn't heard great things about it. If you hated the ending, I feel like I'd also hate the ending 🤣
