5 from me? Grace by Jeff Buckley Odelay by Beck Ben Folds Five debut Dog Man Star by Suede Fountains of Wayne debut. I still play Beck and FOW to death today! Both my boys are huge FOW fans - Isaac says the first music he can ever remember is that FOW album playing constantly 1998-200.
Great choices! 5 from me Tiger Trap S/T Bettie Serveert Palomine Heavenly Le Jardin de Heavenly Magnetic Fields 69 Love Songs Velocity Girl Copacetic That was kinda where I was at in the 90s. I bought a lot of 7" indies too.
Glad to hear Chris is still musically obsessed!! Good selections to the non thread-thread. I am picturing you doing all you can to make it through the work day after that late night at the club!!! Next time you plan to go to a record show let me know! Hope all is well my friend!
Hi Steve! My decision to go to the record show was kind of last minute as I don’t normally go to shows in the summer months. As far as the day after that Verve show, that was awful. I got home at 3AM and was back at my desk in a suit (dress code) at 8am. This, in addition to the 30 minute subway ride to get there. It helped that I was a young guy. It would be the death of me now. 😳
You had me here at Sheryl Crow. Big fan of hers in the 90’s and early 2000’s. Saw every tour of her back then. Heads up, her new album is actually good! Great job Mike👍
Hi Gary! I actually remember you mentioning the Sheryl Crow concerts in the video you and Amy did for my first vinyl community contest! She’s great man. ✌️
i went to lollapalooza the year pearl jam was there. i was so F’d up at that show. the frugs. the booze. got lotsa stories. i only lasted the first two Sheryl Crows albums.
@@MGKBOSTON i must’ve had a flashback when i wrote that comment cause i just noticed i wrote frugs and not drugs. hahaha. whenever i get up that way we can share some sordid tales dude.
The Verve was played quite often in the cd player as i was taking my oldest to college after a weekend home. One if his favs. Idk if i still have !!!! Enjoyed the video.
Nothing says the mid 90's more than that Sheryl Crow album. "Strong Enough" is one of my alltime favorite songs!

Do it Josh! That was a great concert memory for me.
lot of great stuff there. 90s.. The Black Crowes, Alice in Chains, nirvana and pearl jam for sure
Hi Doug! No shortage of bands! ✌️

Hi Steve! I’d love to hear those stories. I have several as well not fit for TH-cam. 🤠

Great picks, definitely match your vibe!
I’m all about the good vibes Sam! 🤠
Urban Hymns for $10 Wow!!! Huge fan of Sheryl, had a crush on her, little did I know lol 😂

The Verve were really a cool concert experience Tony!
That is the one Crowe album, I need besides a greatest hits. Still love Slowdive and Curve, great music
Thanks Steve! Great music indeed!
I need video footage of 90’s MGK!
Of course, i have been to Lee's palace and Molson Park. Front 242! Awesome. They are still touring, I think.
Those were some wild days in the 90s Brian! I had a lot of fun!
1 Manic street preachers, The holy bible. 2. Portishead Dummy 3 low, i could live in hope 4 nirvana in utero. 5 Radiohead The bends.🙋♂️
All great picks my friend! ✌️
The only one out of all these that I really got into was Front 242. I did have the Verve CD that had the big hit in the US.
Front 242 were cool but live at Lollapalooza on a big stage in the middle of the afternoon seemed out of place. They need visuals and a light show.
I have several albums by James and Sheryl Crow, but never got into the other artists for some reason although you made me want to check out Curve.
Hi Randy! Curve were produced by that guy named “Flood.” He produced some cool acts at the time.
