I have a purge tanner on my Tannery and didnt't knEw the recipe for the silk in the artisan table. every time learning something new from you. thank you again for what you are doing for us on console.
I am a PC player and I have "Inigo the Vengeful" on my artisan table. Turns a lot of otherwise rather useless grubs into silk in an area where I have no other easily available source. Big fan of this kind of video. :)
@@Chief_Linguine I got 2 in a level 2 purge. That and our base was right next to Seperumu. LOTS of named people there, as well as a possible Set Archpriest if you want to get your snake on.
I didn't know the tanner on the Artisan Table trick. I've always put a spare armorer or blacksmith on the table. Seems that they're totally ornamental in the current game state.
These are somewhat repetitive, but with the changes in the 2.3 update it is great to have reference material updated and in a single location. I'm especially fond of the way you are doing these, subject by subject. A Conan Exiles playlist cataloging these skill building videos might be a good thing, it would also allow you to remove and replace videos as they become obsolete providing an up-to-date reference source. Again, love the new format. :D PS. A downloadable PDF with a summery of the information would be nice. I could add it to my Conan reference binder. ;)
Okay the named tanner on the artisan table is new to me. I always put either a blacksmith or carpenter on the artisans' bench. Thanks for the new info Wak. My only question is are these new things also on PC?
Sweet cheers man didn't know about tanners going on the artisan table. Now here is a question in one of the funcom patches it states something about T3 alchemists but so far from what i can gather they are as useful as the 1 and 2 so next vid on alchemists and the benches they can go into?
Why my carpenters bench gives me no option for insulated wood ,l made the improved carpenters bench and it also refuses to give me the option for insulated wood. It lets me make shaped wood and Oar ... but no insulated wood
The tanner thing is news to me so thanks. I'm wondering though about already existing thralls on benches, will I have to rehunt new thralls or will my current named thralls change, I'm on console by the way and in exiled lands
When they did that update on PC all the crafter thralls I already had were given specializations. So barring any major issues they should have their specializations.
So... Looking at the item ID on the bows they are all the same. If you wanted to admin spawn a specific version of one of these bows how could you do that? I was actually kind of surprised that the number was the same for each of the variations, there has to be some way of uniquely identifying each of the variations. I know... NERD ATTACK!!! :D
Yo. I'm level 59 and I've got like dozens of locked recipes [mostly weapons meele and ranged, decorations and religious]. Do you have to make a choice what you unlock just like in case of characters skill tree? Or reaching level 60 grants you like ton of points to unlock all type of schematics? This is pretty frustrating if I need to reset skill and schematics tree all the time if I need something. BTW I've managed to get like 3 or 4 names carpenter thralls so I'm in a good starting point when 2.3 PC version hits console with all those new specialised work stations.
Once you hit level 60 run the unnamed city collect the shards make tablets and u can unlock all the recipes if you don't have recipe for tablet just eat the shards won't get as many points but still work's
@@pry731tn2 Thanks. For now I'm using yellow lotus potion to just wipe my schematics tree. But yeah, I'm level 60 now - finally! I've unlocked some sick weapons, I might go to the unnamed city now. One streamer told me too about that stuff in Unnamed City. You did drop an extra tip about eating them. Last time I was there those skelethon were pretty tuff, I was struggling to stay alive.
Tanners and smelters have always been the least useful of crafting thralls, now they are totally useless and I don't even bother getting them. Carpenters were more important before the economy update, especially named ones that used to halve resources needed for shaped wood, now they are less useful too. It's really sad to me that Funcom basically scrapped a big chunk of gameplay by moving crafting power from thralls to benches, and made thrall hunting mostly pointless. Who needs to craft silk from grubs when you can just sickle gossamer nodes and get more silk than you'll ever need in just couple of minutes.
With the building process using more hardened bricks than anything else, smelters are definately usefull. Not only do they craft quicker, but also reduce fuel consumption because of that.
Meh, fuel consumption is not a problem, there's a lot of coal, dry wood, bark and basic wood to burn. Grindiest part in crafting hardened bricks is mining enough stone for bricks. Also crafting time is non issue on servers, because you can load furnaces full of fuel and mats and just log out and come back the next day and have your bricks ready made. On single player game you can adjust crafting time to overcome any issues with that. Smelters are and have always been more of a decorative things than useful thralls.
@@filopat67 I respectfully disagree. Especially when starting up a base, I am always waiting for the furnaces to be ready with the bricks. The fuel is an added bonus, the time however is a big one at the start.
Is there anyone that uses the reduced time stations for anything? If you're playing single player, you can reduce the time on your server settings. If you're playing on a server, you can leave it craft while you go do something else. The 50% materials reduction is just too tasty, specially on official servers, I think.
I mean, in SP you can reduce material costs as well. I feel my SP experience is benefitted by an adjustment to both crafting time and material cost, but not to an extreme that negates the "go do other stuff now" that forms part of Exiles' gameplay loop. So, yeah, I built a Trade Carpenter's Bench, Giant's Firebowl Cauldron, and Campaign Blacksmith for the purposes of making shaped wood, steelfire / stone consolident, and steel reinforcements quickly. But I use the cost-reduction stations for making stuff that actually matters.

You cannot. The spawned items would be considered non thrall crafted. You have to craft the items with the thrall to see the difference.
