Hell no bro, I wore a pair of slip-ons for 4 years in a row and I can say in terms of durability they are a solid 10 If you want it all black out sneaker just grab a sharpie and paint the red tag

Vans Slip Ons are meant to be a little tighter so going half a size up is still ok which is what I did. But if it turned out to be too loose you can wear thicker socks or put in an insole to make it fit better💪
This is a shit shoe. Buy the anaheim series or the Vault series or the PRO series or even the Skate classic series. I guarantee you the regulars will rip holes in a few months.
