    Do I need a special tool to turn the shocks? The eye hole at the bottom needs to be turned about 90 degrees on one and 45 on the other to line up with the mounting bracket/bolts

      The wheel is our TIR-RX283-B (12x7", ET-25) and the tire is our TIR-361 (25x10-12, 6-ply).

    How long are the included shocks? And are the shocks included adjustable?

    • @GolfCartInstructions
      @GolfCartInstructions  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do not have a spare shock to measure off the cart, but the one installed is 16.5" CTC of the mounting holes while under load. The spring is adjustable but not the shock itself.

    Do you make an adapter that would allow it to fit to the pre-2001.5 TXT's at the steering column? Anything else that is substantially different in the carts that would make this lift not fit?

    • @GolfCartInstructions

    What are the measurements for the recommended camber setting?

    • @GolfCartInstructions
      @GolfCartInstructions  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      A positive camber is recommended, meaning you will want the top of the tires to stick out farther away from the cart than the bottom of the tires. This way when a load is applied, the camber will even out so the wheels ride straight. We cannot provide an exact measurement because there are too many variables at play (cart, load size, state of suspension, tires etc.). As long as the tires and wheels are straight with the load you will be good. Then you will want to check for tire wear to make sure it is riding evenly over time. If not, you can readjust your alignment.

    • @GolfCartInstructions
      @GolfCartInstructions  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! We carry a 6" spindle lift (LIFT-102) and a 5" drop axle (LIFT-108). These match the same year range as the LIFT-502 and can be seen at www.rhox.com. Just type the part number in the search field.

    Does RHOX has tech support? My steering will not hang down enough to bolt into the spindles. They are welded probably 1.5" lower than the ones in this video.

    • @GolfCartInstructions
      @GolfCartInstructions  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Brad, You have the correct spindles. The video was shot with the first generation of these lift kits. We modified the spindles to provide more stability. Some find it easier to mount the tie rod ends to the spindles with the assembly on the bench. You can also mount these when the car is on the ground. Another solution would be to use a jack under the A-arm. It can be done.

    (2003 EZGO TXT electric) I switched to 8" wheels and 22" tires for the smoother ride. I have 1" wheel spacers as well. I saw a description say this lift requires 12" wheels. Does that still apply with spacers?

    • @GolfCartInstructions
      @GolfCartInstructions  ปีที่แล้ว

      We have not tried it with spacers. We run rims with a -1" offset in general with lift kits. When we tested this, I believe the 10" rims interfered front suspension, even with the 1" offset. You can always try it and see if it works. You want the tires and wheels to turn freely without anything impeding their path of travel or rubbing.
