On one hand I want this but on the other hand if they do come out with Player 2 colors, I'd rather just buy that version and potential swap the heads or something.
A similar thing just happened to me when I got my Jada Mega Man from Amazon. There's only a pic of him on the back, but the Fire Man I just got yesterday has the entire wave 1 line up.
Yes, Ryu, Chun Li and Fei Long have all been re-released by the new factory. As the reviewer said if your box displays the single character on the back it's the new factory. Ken, M. Bison and Dhalsim were created exclusively in the newer factory. Hope that helps👍
I didnt even realize there was a factory swap in the runs for chun li. As you said at the end i have the first factory ver and I cant even tell the difference with them side by side so I probably wont bother getting the new one. But I appreciate this video showing me so I dont have to hunt it down. Its bad enough I cant find the red ver.
They honestly look pretty much the same to me. Still glad to have one, she's become one of my favorite figures, and I've never even played street fighter! A fun figure is a fun figure.
I found something interesting out on my Evil Ryu, at last the version released in germany has a print on the buttom, who says "Imported by Dickies/Simba Group" a german toy manufacturer, So i became curious, did some research and found out that the group ownes Jada Toys, probably ´cause they both do die-cast cars. So, at last nothing special to the guys in the US, but germany is a Action-Figure wasteland and i hope Jada puts them somehow in the regular stores around.

As far as i know Chun Li & Fei Long from Wave 1 get a 2.0 release. But does Ryu also get a 2.0 release by the new factory??? If it does, will you be doing a review of it???
Nice. Thanks for the breakdown. Both look good, but I’m a shallow, shallow bastard…and I can’t NOT see the crisp lines. And at their prices, it’ll be one of the cheapest duplicate figs I pay for. ✌🏾➕✊🏾

Maybe all wave 1 figures had a re-release? The Fei Long I got from Amazon last month also only had a picture of itself on the back of the box.

My only knock on the new one is the mold seam down the sides is a fair bit more visible: other than that, either looks fine to me
Same with Ryu I bought a new version and the headsulpt looked better.
