Yeah, bootleg actually safe with this kind of copyright because they changed the scale and not showing the mafex brand on any part of the box and on the feet.
It would all boil down who had the more premium materials, I'm impressed with these bootleg evolving through technology. But I think the original would outlast the bootleg. As a cheap collector I would prefer buying the bootleg lol, just posing it and play it out of the box 😂 I'll wait til the level of bootleg SHF is comparable to bootleg mafex
@@jeieljosephpano-ii7upthey didn’t change the scale. It’s still 6inch scale. Do you know how they get molds to make bootlegs? When you copy a mold you have to essentially make a mold of the original mold. Which always results in a smaller product compared to original. They didn’t change sizes to try avoid copyright. The size change likely wasn’t intentional at all. It’s just a result of the mold copying process.
Gotta clean up the camera skills my guy. If you know it’s blurry fix it. Why make videos is you don’t care?? I get you’re a small channel, but you gotta improve if you want to continue to grow. Other than that I appreciate the comparisons.
I see we're all thinking the same thing here... this was almost it homie. But for a video with comparisons such as these, dialing in the camera settings so so important. Loved the attempt but ehhhh.
It’s cheaper for the unlicensed since they aren’t paying for the license. Those usually don’t have the name of the real name of the character. This looks cool. I have two Hasbro wolverines but not with the brown.
@ I can’t say you are right or not since I don’t have any in hand. I’ve seen some mezco at clients homes but didn’t touch them so can’t say between the real and the fake if there’s much difference in the figures themselves.
@@MTB214 Well I have both. Not to mention the MAF Spidey and Venom KO from a few years ago. The CT KO is better than the MAF KOs, but is still not the same quality as the actual Mafex figures. And they ALL have the actual name of the character. You seems to have 3P and KO mixed up as 3P figures are the ones that give figures different names. Unless it's some cheap KO you find at Dollar Tree.
Very good. Articulation is fantastic. Whatever you can do with Legends as far as posing goes you can do it with this CT figure. It's delicate though. The head and torso popped off on me a couple of times and I have an issue with the port depth on one of the claw hands. The peg from the wrist can't go all the way into the claw hand.
No everything on the ct toys is a bit smaller, due to the mold copying process. I seen another video try and use I believe an unmasked tiger stripe head and the peg was just small enough that the head hung.but blue tax helped. It would be a bit harder to do that on hands though
I wonder if this was a knock off of a $25 brown suit Marvel Legends Wolverine would this figure receive so much positive feedback? Is it because it's a ko of a $80 figure we are quicker to overlook the qc issues?
Does the bootleg one smelled funny/worse/different than the real one? The bootleg one shines more. I am worried about what kind of paint or chemicals might be in it.
@@CrzBonKerz21 Would be cool if someone tested these for lead and other chemicals. I know there are kits on amazon to test lead in paint, but i'm not sure about tests for several other ones.

@@kingquazi really think these guys get together and share these ideas, because why do so many proclaim this nonsense as if it were facts.
The CT is a good 5'3 comic scale Wolverine
medicom said and quote "We have no plans on rereleasing brown suit wolverine"
when and where?
Good! I am planning to sell my new, MOC Mafex Brown Suit Wolverine to get my kids through college!
@Marquis_de_Nah lol
This would have been a great video if it wasn’t for the amount of blurry section due to failure to focus on closeups.
Right

You forgot cheaper materials, less cost for molds as well as other factors beyond just the license.

It's almost the only comparison video with the original, but it's out of focus, so it's impossible to make an accurate comparison
If you don’t have one, get one! It’s soo cool. Gonna get the tiger strip so I can have the yelling face
Mine is on the way ! 🥳🥳🥳
How does the plastic on the ct toys version feel like compared to the authentic?

My only issue is the throat piece is closer to one side of where it plugs into the torso. Other than that no complains.
Do the original mafex hands peg into the the CT toys wolverine hands?

I like my CT but I don't think that he scales well with my Newer ML's
Do you recommend this guy or secret wars wolvie?
@tfswfan29 Both, but I lean towards the Secret Wars Wolverine.
The short Wolverine is good and is on scale
You gotta work on your camera shots, everything is blurry all the time. Maybe set the focus to manual and keep the distance consistent.
