Eduard Pleyel building (1894), Sarajevo

Eduard Pleyel, a Czech native, came to Sarajevo in 1877. He was a pharmacist, prominent citizen, and philanthropist. Pleyel owned a pharmacy in a beautiful building (1894, Paržik) on Štrosmajerova Street. The front façade remains decorated with Eduard Pleyel's initials (EP).
