I learned about ICP when I saw Banfield's 1st video on ICP where he bought 8 ICP in February. I went into my own deep dive mode when the information wasnt as easy to come by, started loading up on ICP. Then months down the road Jerry went all in on ICP I was shocked but very happy and didn't realize he was so knowlegdable about crypto in general. He is a blessing to the ICP community, couldn't have had a better spokesperson/infuencer for ICP.

I agree that there are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy or market condition, but such executions are usually carried out by investment experts or advisors with experience.
A better way is to get proper guide!!!! The most important thing is the technicality and Tobias Hawke keeps proven himself.

You just planted a seed that I hope a lot of people caught. The top few projects you're not even supposed to sell out of. Certainly supposed to take profit and recoup your initial investment but what about 15 or 20 years from now? You will be priced out of participation if you sell now. Certain projects we should have where we would totally sell out of for games and then two or three that we hold forever. Thanks for a great video!

Was looking at ICP when it was $2.88 but was kind of afraid because of the FTX fud. What is your thought on Yoto? I read the white paper and checked out the road map and seems transparent and legit.

Respectfully, you exit plan is not to exit. 8 years in Crypto is a lifetime. While I understand your example with Bitcoin, you exited with a huge profit.
I was a Stockbroker for a long time and you can't look back on your profits and say, " if I would have waited it would have been ... x or y. that will drive you crazy.
No, you take a tidy profit and move on
In your case a Huge profit to over 100k.
My only other advice is to not ever sell your whole bag (if you still have conviction) but hodl some ICP (in this case).
I have been in the Crypto game about as long as you and realize this whole thing might be gone tomorrow with Government intervention (shutting down exchanges)..
I own a lot of ICP and have set target prices to take profits with the thought of just keeping in a portion of my gains.
That said, it's your money and you should do what you want with it.

it's a decent strategy all around - ICP makes up 5% of my portfolio but the goal has been 8-10% & I'm still DCA'ing into it with INJ & SOL both blasting past past 10% along with TIA hitting 8%. AVAX & HNT have also been doing great but LINK has been kinda flat in comparison. I dropped ETH & BTC and switched L2's & tokens like STX & ALEX but other than OP the L2's have been lagging too - unless you also consider IMX an L2...

@@ryanbaileyboxing ya sure i really want my portfolio weighed down by stuff that isn't moving. every time i buy back into either it's out sped by the rest of my portfolio. I'd rather hold stable coin and use stop losses but if you want to tie up your crypto with 25% @ +1.38/9% on the week/month for ETH and another 25% @ +0.84/15% for BTC that's great. I set up rebalancing bots with varying degrees of risk, set a stop loss at -10%, add 10% USDT to offset and increase holdings if anything goes down and reset every week so that the stop loss position is always moving up too. Kucoin has me at +43% on the month, Pionex at +74% on the same time frame - don't take my word on it though there are a number of other influencers that suggest weighing in on other top projects with low risk besides BTC & ETH to maximize gains & it's become pretty common for people to trade ETH for SOL - I just happened to get rid of both of what I had left about a month ago as I had been consistently matching or outpacing them for awhile so have no regrets, and I'd much rather stop loss into something that holds a value of $1 when things get bad cause even BTC & ETH crash and recently tokens like INJ have bucked market trends hitting new ATH's when the whole market is in the red.

Icp is def cool…. this project did a 3x and that’s not bad. But a lot of it has to do with where you start -> the market cap. Injective l, not too long ago was 1 usd, now 30 + usd. So that’s a 30x already. So while icp will do well, it already has a huge market cap so the gains will be good, but not injective good…. So don’t get too happy about all your money😂 thinking icp will rule the world. Just chill, it’s a good project

@@daviduddin11 you won’t get the what ? You do realize that the stake for 8 years non dissolving is actually 21.5 %Apr right. And it can actually be more dependent on when you spawn your maturity. The 16.5 %is if you were dissolving it. You get the additional 5% by delaying … so You’d get your total back in less than 5 years. But my think is if it turns out to be what we think it is why worry about it ? If you want your money back stake it for 8 don’t dissolve wait 5 years then sell your neuron. But if it’s good and actually works think about how long it took from the invention of the internet to where we are now… you have at least a 20 year run before something replaces it… maybe 15 at the very least… due to the adoption of new hardware and moving of enterprise and retraining employees.

I don't see why it's a bad thing when it's the best tech in the crypto space bar-none. I had mainly Cardano ADA for 2 bullruns and it was terrific! You have to fully understand what your investing in, in order to make that type of decision.
