I slept in the same tent 2 nights this past weekend. Rained the whole time. I waterproofed the tent last year, and had very minimal leaking (I need to seal the seams at floor/wall). Pretty decent tent for the price.
The 225 dollar Guide Gear teepee failed the first time I used it, so I bought this walmart tent until I could order another tent. I wasn't expecting much from such a cheap tent, but I've used it now constantly for the past two years from Mid April to Mid October and it's never leaked or had any problems at all. I started looking for another bigger tent, and I think I might just buy the 6 person version of this tent when it goes on sale. Why mess with success. Who knew Ozark Trail could make decent quality gear?
I'm not familiar with that pack, the boot area is just big enough for knee hi rubber boots. I doubt if a large pack would fit, a day pack however probably would.
Picked up one several days ago on sale for $30 at Walmart. Can't beat the price.

How did the rainfly do? I see it's one of those partial rain flys you see a lot these days.

I wouldn't spend any significant time camping in this tent,but if your going to a music festival that has 3 or four day camping,it serves its purpose.
