11 - Hiding a mic in the hair using Clipz from HideAmic

When all else fails often the BEST results come when you can hide a mic in the hair.
In this quick video we demo how you can rig Hide-a-mic Clipz with a DPA 4071 into a parting made in the hair.
We recommend wrapping the mic around the elastic of the clip twice and pre-rigging at least two clipz onto the mic before approaching the artist. We would not recommend rigging the artist yourself as this would be the job of the hair & make-up stand-by. However we do recommend having the kit to do this in your tackle box! You never know when they made be needed and you cannot trust that the makeup person will have the kit on them to do this!
