Florida refused/did not have to go north and play UK in the cold (late in season) for nearly 40 years. That makes a huge difference when the rest of UF's schedule had to endure the Florida heat early in the season. The SEC played a huge part in positioning their cash cow teams for success.
one of the nicest things about us improving is that the games are now on the same level as the fan rivalries, the history, the atmosphere and culture. i dont think anyone enjoys their rivalries like SEC east teams. i'll be in Neyland to enjoy ours this year

Stoops is hands down one of the best coaches in the country. What he’s done at Kentucky with the “second and third pick” players is massive. People hate and I mean HATE that Kentucky is catching up to the powerhouses haha. If stoops starts getting 4 and 5 star recruits they will be on title runs annually. No doubt in my mind.
The problem with Stoops is that his teams are very inconsistent. As you probably watched today, 5 punts for every 12 possessions. That is REALLY bad. The same thing happened last year. KY is not going to get good recruits if they see that.

Yep there was a lack of communication on that play. Wright was running a hitch witch turned into a fade once the cb didn't follow. AR didn't see it in time and threw essentially without looking. Also wish Wright wasn't put in as rb as much as Johnson or Etienne, as they are definitely superior.

Why did they try and win the game passing the ball?🤷🏾♂️ AR is not a pocket tight QB he's a running QB they should have created more run packages designed for AR and stuck with the run game. And that pick six that Kentucky got I knew that was game over the way Florida played the whole game. Our D was pretty good just could not drive the field on offense due to a horrible passing game. Moving the gators to 12 in the rankings was the over reaction of over reactions after week 1. I imagine those scouts that made their way to the swamp left thinking "we traveled here for this guy"? All the AR15 hype was the next biggest over reaction. He's an athlete playing QB, and it appears he does not have the mental command of the position that he needs to be elite. You hate to see it.
He definitely has the mental command for an offense but Napiers play calling was atrocious. Last 4th down was a one man read slant which is not acceptable for a do or die play. AR played his part in the loss but his coach didn’t do him any favors
Besides the INTs, the other factor was fatigue. Kentucky wore Florida down late. The lack of quality depth will make games like this brutal for the Gators all season.

Florida is a great team. They beat UTAH and that is not easy to do. This is the SEC, everyone is tough in this league top to bottom. I am proud of what Stoops and his fantastic couching staff has done. Florida too is on track to be back at the top.

Should’ve never fired Dan Mullen, UF is one of the only college football programs that gets rid of a coach for a bad season. 34-15 isn’t bad at all for only 4 years and we never gave him time to grow with the program. He was the reason for there new football facility and we fire him the year before it’s done being built

Well im a UK a fan i knew we was gonna win however i do think Florida is better than everybody thinks. It was just another day at the office for Kentucky. UK is going to Atlanta this year. Once Kentucky clean up the mistakes i believe they can beat anybody too many offensive and defensive weapons. Stoops knows it. UK played a fairly sloppy game without their star running back and still won in the swamp. Atlanta is the destination

Yep there was a lack of communication on that play. Wright was running a hitch witch turned into a fade once the cb didn't follow. AR didn't see it in time and threw essentially without looking. Also wish Wright wasn't put in as rb as much as Johnson or Etienne, as they are definitely superior.

Why did they try and win the game passing the ball?🤷🏾♂️ AR is not a pocket tight QB he's a running QB they should have created more run packages designed for AR and stuck with the run game. And that pick six that Kentucky got I knew that was game over the way Florida played the whole game. Our D was pretty good just could not drive the field on offense due to a horrible passing game. But I give Kentucky much respect that's two years in a row of beating Florida they came a long way and have a good football program. Congratulations UK you deserve it. 👍🏾

Well the early quarter back sneak was blown up from the jump and majority of Florida’s runs were aswell. Kentucky’s defense is so underrated. They are nasty on D.

Moving the gators to 12 in the rankings was the over reaction of over reactions after week 1. I imagine those scouts that made their way to the swamp left thinking "we traveled here for this guy"? All the AR15 hype was the next biggest over reaction. He's an athlete playing QB, and it appears he does not have the mental command of the position that he needs to be elite. You hate to see it.

He definitely has the mental command for an offense but Napiers play calling was atrocious. Last 4th down was a one man read slant which is not acceptable for a do or die play. AR played his part in the loss but his coach didn’t do him any favors

Besides the INTs, the other factor was fatigue. Kentucky wore Florida down late. The lack of quality depth will make games like this brutal for the Gators all season.

Should’ve never fired Dan Mullen, UF is one of the only college football programs that gets rid of a coach for a bad season. 34-15 isn’t bad at all for only 4 years and we never gave him time to grow with the program. He was the reason for there new football facility and we fire him the year before it’s done being built
As a Kentucky fan I feel bad for AR. This video started with ESPN comparing him to Vince Young and he simply played a bad game. He’s still really talented and he’ll be fine. But seriously, can they not give a little credit to the Kentucky defense? Also they missed so many huge plays in this video. Great game though!
