Sin duda alguna después de escuchar esta interpretación magistral por esta cantante solo puedo decir que ha sido y será una de las voces más grande y aguerridas que ha dado el mundo de la ópera una soprano con un registró vocal de un alto nivel artístico lograba hacer de su voz algo poco escuchado una igualdad en todos los registros sin dejar de mencionar su belleza y fuerza aquí queda totalmente demostrado bravo bravo y gracias a los que han hecho posible este video es sin duda una joya del arte operístico

Eso siempre sucede con las voces grandes, las grabaciones nunca pueden hacerle justicia, hoy en día la tecnología aún no puede captar todos los armónicos y belleza de las voces voluptuosas, realmente la magia sucede en directo.

You would be correct about weight and color of Sutherland's voice being wrong for Eboli or Lady Macbeth, but wrong about her power. I heard dame Joan sing live and she was incredibly powerful with a sound every bit as big as Nilsson, Rysanek, or Eileen Farrell.

I do not quite agree with you. There are voices and there are other voices. Cecilia Bartoli, Verrett, Bumbry are all exceptions not the rule. Ask Dolora zajick if she can sing Abigaille or Tosca or Norma=TRUE sopranos roles. Having the notes does not mean that it is the same tessitura. A mezzo is not a soprano. The scope/prism of the voice is totally diferent. Just hear Dimitrova with Zajick...it becomes CLEAR that Dimitrova IS a soprano and Zajick is a MEZZO! Don't mix tangerines with oranges!
