Nice that you can disable the menubar hiding in full screen. I guess the option is there to hide the notch 😂 I use Rectangle, so I don't really care about this, but it would still be cool to also have the option to not put fullscreen windows on a separate desktop... it messes up the desktop switching shortcuts.

Its an amazing and informative video…. One point to mention; technically speaking, having the authenticator along with password saved in the same cyber security environment defeats the purpose of 2FA!!

Monterey runs so much smoother than Big Sur. Almost as if it was designed for the M1s.

My issue: macbook air would "connect" but sounlink would not appear under "sound" nor would audio play. Also, the speaker would not say "connected to macbook air" as it had in the past.
Solution: Worked after I ran CleanMyMac as explained in video. Never found the Bluetooth file he talks about in Library.

My screen no longer goes "white" whenever I move my pointer on Monterey VS Big Sur on my M1 Mac Mini connected to my 60" Vizio E series TV with HDR enabled on my Mac and TV. I haven't tried it on my LG 27D58 yet.
I love how you can keep it full screen with menu bar at the top. But it keeps the menu bar even when you are watching a TH-cam video on full screen too, so that's a bummer.

Has anyone learned how to select multiple message conversations at once for deletion? After upgrading I have tens of thousands of message from the beginning of time. For one or two people I do want them saved forever. But now you can't seem to use command to highlight more than one message at a time.

It looks like your safari in this video is from developer preview of some sort, because I wasn't able to have rounder corners for traditional tabs design. And even Monterey page at Apple website shows that old traditional design with address bar on top - but I see that you have more rounder tabs with address bar on top. Maybe I miss something?
some external apps downloaded cannot delete later from Macbook, like PDF Expert. Mainly unremovable apps are require subscription.
I JUST got my new MacBook Pro (love it), and it seems like the Safari tabs have been further updated since this video. I rather like the tabs for my taste! Seem to function really well - no complaints. Great video, thanks for this! Lots of helpful information.
Due to the backlash from the new tab design, they made the old one the default. You can choose your tab design in Safari Settings>Tabs.
i have an issue where my cursor after sometime will stutter/lag when moving across the screen on my m1 macbook air and can only be solved for sometime by moving it to the corner of the screen does anyone know a permanent fix?

My 2016 MacBook Pro has only T1 security so that clear my Mac option is not available.
Nor was I able to get the OS through the Mac App Store or through the software update app in system preferences for a second time :-(

Tab groups 🤯damm yes please!! I always run out of screen space down to no space to open a new tab and be able to see it on my 16inch mbp 🤣🤣 too many projects at once! Had to use second browser for other project 😄😄 this is amazing
My 2017 MacBook Pro's battery was abysmal ever since updating to Big Sur. I think Monterey fixed it.

My 2015 MacBook lost macOS Monterrey support guess it’s time for a new one.
Boot time is WAAAY faster now. Safari is actually super fast and snappy, it was an old dog in Big Sur. It actually boots like it should. Apple watch unlock almost works perfectly, still just fails sometimes. Screen sharing is still untouched and totally sucks.
Airplay is AWESOME- but impossible to work in window-mode to utilize in a presentation alongside other content, etc, capturing it via OBS doesn't work. It's a start.
Should I upgrade to macOs monterey if I have Intel base mac ?

my safari "separate" tab layout looks like the Safari 14 (Big Sur) tabs. They are not as spaced out as at 27:20. Does anyone know why?

So a word to your sponsor Clean My Mac (CMM). The M1 ‘swaps’ ram / SD continuously to get more ram, right? So why does CMM keep telling me to clean my ram cache to allow more memory? What’s happening here? Anyone else having this issue?
