On these older leaf’s, you can use ‘leaf spy’ to check the condition of the individual cells in the battery pack. It’s not unknown for 1 or 2 cells to fail and substantially reduce the overall range. Specialist independent ev garages in Europe drop the battery pack, find the defective cell(s) and replace improving the range. You can also swap in a complete newer (used) battery pack from one of the newer leaf’s with the larger capacity battery packs. This latter option is now quite popular in Europe & the UK.

Wow, Car Wizard does a role reversal as a customer to Euroasian Bob vs. being on the other side of the cash register. This should be fun.
You can almost hear the cars shouting "Hey it's the Car Wizard! Pick me, pick me!"
He pays him in Omega Auto Bucks
Mechanic credits 😂
The Wizard pays an invoice and comes over to the EV side. What a treat, it's first gen Leaf and range anxiety will definitely be an issue, but you'll love one pedal driving. Thanks for Euroasian Bob and the Wizard!
He bought that to learn EV. Mechanics better start dabbling in them to learn some on them. Mechanic the can work on them will stay relevant.
Learning how to work on them is only half the story...the other half is parts availability/cost
I really love that Toyota Celica Turbo
Very happy to see Wizard gaining experience in EVs. This will make your channel even more interesting to watch!
North Broadway. One of the worst areas of Wichita. I mean, people getting straight-up robbed and murdered here over the years, especially at night. My parents had a house around 21st & Broadway. That part of town hasn't been burned-down yet, LOL, but I appreciate your bravery and the video!

Oh, man, that little Honda Spree brings back loads of memories...I had one just like it back when I was 19 or 20, first cut my mechanical teeth on that 49cc two stroke. Had to change the piston rings every couple of years...did it twice before getting rid of it. It was great fun riding that little thing with its awesome top speed of...a whopping 30 miles per hour!!!
Quattro, just your Good basic, you know it’s nothing super fancy or anything like that!
Haha
