Even today i don't understand why they didn't retrain the god cards. If a god card was so good that it got banned i wouldn't even be mad, i'd just be like "dayum, that's a real god card. it's even on the banlist"
If Exodia could get a Retrain then Gods will have their too
When YuGiOh’s power creep gets too out of hand, they should definitely go all out with god card retrains

Sphere mode not being able to summon Ra from the grave is so stupid.
The God Cards and their support have so many restrictions, it's actually a puzzle to make them work. Every time you think you can do something, there is probably some restriction preventing you from doing so.
They could have just made them like in the anime and they would have never been too OP for always having their inherent restriction of requiring 3 monsters to tribute. Yes, in the anime it seemed OP, but in the TCG, there were always faster cards and many more cards to counter any strategy in general.
They also future proofed the god cards by having their own effect SEND them to the GY instead of destroying them so you can't even protect them.

The only restrictions I've seen is the lack of protection vs other card arcs which is os why it's hard to build a generic Deck around them. Still fun to play with them when you get them out in a single turn. Just sucks to then get ash blossomed for using the sphere.

If the executive producer of an English localization can take the place of Osiris, then I can accept that Horus cards are God cards despite them lacking the attribute.
It would have been cool to finally have a DIVINE attribute deck, and it is Egyptian related and basically connected to the lore. They look like they would be more connected to Horakhty than the Gods themselves!
Unfortunately, they are DARK, and a bit generic, which means every deck would abuse them until they get banned.

The best part is you never giving up and limit testing the deck.
This is great, ive been wanting to build a Egyptian god deck, and with horus now out in master duel, think the deck might ghr have some better synergy.
Would like to see a part 2 that also features Slifer. He doesn't seem as easy to summon since he's less searchable, but there is some draw power in the deck, so it would be cool to have at least 1 duel he is used well.
Can't wait for Grave keepers to make a comeback as a hard counter to these Horus cards. I used Horus in all of two duels, as of now, and I am now terrified of running into Grave keepers. They were already a pain to deal with as it is.
The finisher animations are sooo cool!

Somewhat unrelated, i never noticed master duel makes it where activating cards renders on top of everything including the cards in your hand that should be occluding it (presumably so you can always see what is being activated)

Beating snake-eye and 60 card branded with god cards is hilarious 😂😂😂 but it takes a good pilot to be able to do what you did well played

I have a friend who only plays god card decks, and hence had trouble scoring wins above silver.
With Horus cards, he might just do so. I guess I should send him a link to this video.
New in master duel , but want to build a god deck. I see he only runs maxx c and none from the other staples? Even though everyone else I see runs ash/impermanence etc. Also I thought premature burial would be good for the Horus cards but isn't in the list. If anyone cleared things for me a bit, it would be great !!
For anyone who's been testing this build, would you say it's strictly fun or can it compete with rogue decks?

the Horus engine is going to be a fan favorite for quite a while.
I will say popping off the Horus that draws while you have a pretty much full field is an unmatched feeling 😂
I still say if you could win with pure(not armed/abc/etc) Ojama deck I think you would have a blast lmao

tbh. they should make it so that if you click a card. it only shows currently activatable effects highlighted than only when its activated.
It is sort of a brick and was better when mine was still legal, but i really like running galaxy cyclone when i run photon lord for the attach for the negate and destroy plus you can draw it or mill it to out backrow.
The play around underworld was insane. Good job brotha

Only thing different is i just play ra and use assault synchron cause if slime is in my hand then I can summon it out and then make legatia to chain block slime effect to add usually true sun god to my hand
