Just to give a testimony. I started to listen to Dr. Myles teaching right out of secondary school. Coming from a low income family. I'm now 21 an entrepreneur and teacher. I thank God for this man and his teachings

Much as I love Dr. Myles Munroe, tongues is not the original language. Adam and Eve spoke the original language in the garden, and that original language was speaking in the spirit not in tongues.
@@romellejones2246 I can imagine myself that Adam and Eve did speak in tongues cause they did had the Spirit before the fall?
With all due respect, it is extremely dangerous to imagine what's in the scriptures. Adam nor Jesus spoke the tongue that many preachers speak. Paul spoke in tongues, but the key difference is that all the humans around him understood what he was saying.

The message about the kingdom of God has changed my life for the good. Although I believe in Jesus, I do not have the Holy Spirit. In a way, I am like the believers in Acts who did not have the Holy Spirit, until Paul came and lay his hands on them. I pray that one day, I too will receive the Holy Sprit.

Actually, Paul also teaches us about our identity (that Jesus is the first born and we're the heir of God through Jesus Christ) and how to build a kingdom of God in the earth (the churches).
But I think it's also important to preach the work of Jesus and his resurrection because it shows us how much he loves us and how victorious he is. It's the foundation stone of the house. And the work of Jesus is the most important and fundamental truth.
Without this foundation, the message of Kingdom of God become in vain.
The works of Jesus is a natural consequence of Jesus'message of the Kingdom life. Teaching works is like giving fish 🐟 without teaching where and how to fish the fish.

Went to meetings where people laid hands on me, nothing happened… I believe there was conflict whether I believed or not.. Then when I realize it was something given by Jesus, I wanted it! Was baptize at home by asking Jesus to baptize me in the Holy Ghost, he did!! 👏🏽💕🙏🏽
When I was newly saved, I stood up in church service several times when pastor prayed for people to recv the gift of tongues. Nothing happened. So I prayed to GOD to give me the gift of tongues in His time. One day soon after while I was sitting on pew at church service on Thursday evening, I recvd the gift of tongues. I didnt hv proper understanding abt tongues. So was fearful tt if I stopped the gift, I might lose it. I let tongues flow out of me Thursday night, Friday, Saturday. Sunday, after morning church svs, I asked pastor to explain tongues to me. Besides other things, he told me I cd control speaking / praying in tongues ie speak-stop-speak in tongues whenever I wanted to. I was so glad to know I wont lose the gift. So I use the gift whenever I can. It sharpens my sensitivity to what the Lord is saying to me. Once I used tongues when i was involved in a deliverance ministry. The demon in the possessed person was afraid of the Blood of Jesus n the tongues we spoke.

He's like the reincarnation of John the Baptist, who was the reincarnation of elijah. He truly wasn't of this earth. I can hear the message of his spirit, the message that goes beyond what the audio captured. listen with the spirit which dwells within and this message will be its nutrients. It hungers for it. He's telling us to receive the holy spirit once more so we can regain that which has been blocked by our culture. Open up thy ears and let the spirit be filled with the light which was sent by him through him who came down from the kingdom to reorganize the kingdom citizens.

I agree with Dr Monroe but I believe that Language is more than just words. Language is more than just words, it’s beliefs, habits, associations. In other words, culture.
The problem now a days is that everyone wants to speak the language of sin (i.e. drinking, pornography, objectifying women, racism) instead of speaking the language of the Lord which is Love, compassion, patience and understanding and most importantly repentance.

I love Myles, he has been my mentor for years, Paul got people Believing we suppose to babel. The word says at the day of pentecost every man understands the disciples in his native tongue. The original language every one spoke was Hebrew. The book of Jasher (removed be the beast himself) fills in the blanks where there is confusion. Abba Yah isn’t the author of confusion. No disrespect to this great man. He is the biggest reason (besides TMH) i am the man i am today
