i haven't seen the one for jambi, but honestly im not feeling this performance as much as i felt the album. as much as these two artists have in common, it's still a tenuous combination at times and something about kimya's soft, intimate acoustic performance and aesop's hype ass spitting just seems to clash too much for the stage. this is still one of my top 10 albums of the decade, i just don't know if the uncluded are necessarily a live experience
Mick Chicken ur right about that but i love the emotions theyre puting in their verses. U gotta watch jambi cafe acoustic its fudging adorable and as far as this video, i reaaally like aesop in this one. U can really feel what hes saying and how important those times are to him in this performance.
@@MohamedAli-gr3gf three-weeks-ago me was literally upset that aes went too hard on the stage. i've had time to reflect on this album (and bought the cd) and this is the best track on the album by far. the emotion is unreal and this performance makes me feel like all three of us are best buds.
holy SHIT i've also checked out kimya's album thunder thighs since then and if you haven't watched them do Walk Like Thunder (or heard the studio version for that matter) then fucking get there my man
I absolutely adore this song/band/project..and aesop is undoubtedly one of the BEST lyricists to ever exist..but as a guitarist- im so bothered by her love playing..a lot of factors could contribute to her lack of control or timing..but it just doesnt fully do it justice is all
2 of my favorite humans on the planet...And I for real only like around like 20 out of 7 billion people. These 2 are on point.
