Burton fan here, I was surprised by the timing of it - thought he might have got Saturday as a minimum - but they've took action sooner rather than later, which can only respect I guess. I think Pete Wild is a sensible choice, but a part of me wonders if we could convince Gary Rowett to come back. I don't think he is the long term choice but we need results ASAP. I'm not sure on Barry-Murphy, not too familiar with him but seems like his career has gone very similar to Robinson, and not sure if we can take that risk on an academy coach once again. Will be interesting to see what direction we go down though, have to get this appointment right or we are most definitely down
Yeah, I completely understand that. Pete Wild, for me, is the ideal replacement. Damien Duff is a passionate manager who would bring a lot of enthusiasm to the role and could potentially give the Brewers success long-term.
