Hey what's good!? Loved the vid. Any idea where I might be able to catch a standing wave for river surfing over 5'? I hear there's a spot of Belle Isle but thought I'd ask the experts. 🤙🏻🌊
@@sorinholland4 thanks for the compliment but I’m no expert lol. I would say you could surf the end of pipeline. Check out the surfing chapter in the vid.
@@TechyMedic28 you mean where everyone's kind of gathered and paddling upstream? I think I know where that is. Thanks! I heard from one of the Outfitter guys that maybe 10' midstream from the southern tip of Belle there's a standing wave anytime it's over 4.5' of river flow. I'll be out there next rain with my Ben Gravy 9'! 🤙🏻🌊
@@sorinholland4 now that I think about it, there were some people surfing First Break which is at the southern tip of Belle Isle. That might be you heard about.
Nice! I ran it the Sunday before this
Hoping to get out there this weekend, will be my first time running the lower.
@@Kleasky hell yeah man! You’ll have a blast!
Sick video - where is the lower James?
Thanks! Location along with put-in and take-out points are noted in the description.
