    The evil one tries to keep us from meditating. Lighting a blessed candle and having a blessed crucifix helps to keep the focus during prayer. Playing Gregorian Chant music clears the air of evil before going into prayer. I like to use the ACTS to start. Adoration, contrition, thanksgiving and supplication.

      Diary of St Faustina
      It is the enemy of our souls that tries to convince us to give in to despair. Let us instead place our complete trust in our loving God. As we rest in Him, He does the work of changing our hearts to be one with His. 'Jesus, I trust in You!' ❤

    The friar has a penchant for excoriating and castigation. Broadly needed in Christendom today. Luckily no one is more critical of me than myself and I admit I have turned back. The honeymoon prayer phase is definitely over for me. But does the friar understand the scale of consequence if they did what he preaches? Could he do more to actually help them?He’s not ready for than convo.

      My response when I see those kind of people is, thank GOD they are still attending mass and that means they are still connected to GOD and have a chance of growing in their faith. I have to pray for them to grow deeper in their faith. Their lives are much better than those who don’t go to church of which I have to pray for also.

    What about all those leapers who asked Christ for healing? What about the Roman centurion who begged Christ to heal his manservant? What about the sisters of Lazarus who begged Christ to come and heal him? Did They ask too much of God also? Were they only thinking of themselves? Were they all hypocrite too? I am always wary of hypocrites calling hypocrites hypocrites.

      So indirectly you just call Padre a hypocrite. Lol. Does that make you a hypocrite? Do I need to be wary of you because you called him a hypocrite? What I am saying is that the argument is circular. Maybe just listening to our Lord and knowing what comes from a man's mouth will defile a man. You're in my prayers. Ave Maria

      Those are people who asked for God's mercy. That's different from offering yourself to serve God. Blessed Bartolo Longo asked for God's mercy then offered his life to His service. From redemption to full conversion.

    • @kasilluzions2766
      @kasilluzions2766 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Christ heals, but he is not a healer, he is SAVIOR. Ask and you shall receive, Our Lord is merciful, so yes be bold in asking for healing. But the only reason why he heals is to give Glory to the Father. Thank God!!! Christ heals our wounds so we can freely choose and accept Him, so that we WITH Him can glorify the Father through our witness to the Truth. But God doesn’t always heal, he didn’t free John the Baptist from prison, he let Lazarus die before he resurrected him from the dead, and he SUFFERED before he ROSE, and we have to be ready and faithful enough to desire Him and see in Him Heaven more than we desire our own healing. If he heals us, Glory to the Lord, if not, Glory to the Lord.
