Sometimes there's some weird things in the subtitles, like I think, they must have just taken that straight from the script and then the actor ad libbed something slightly different, and sometimes it's garbled like it's being done live and unrehearsed, but this is new.
This reminds me of those old 'educational' shorts, like 'Habit Pattern' or 'Health - Your Posture', where those narrators would browbeat the main character like there was no tomorrow.
Cecily.... she just displayed a lot of good method acting here. Not overly exaggerated, but if you look closely at her facial expression and tone change... she was very good. For example, the disappointing lips smacking after she said "alright" at 0:24 was great. When she was belittled about the community theater, the facial expression at 0:39 to 0:40 is amazing.
Cecily is such a talented actor, I'm surprised she hasn't made the leap into films. Not that I want her to leave SNL, but I'd love to see what she's capable of in a bigger role.

They did a chantix commercial a couple years back that went more into the side effects. The drug is pretty darn effective, but the side effects get a little crazy.
I didn't even know Cecily Strong's name last week! Now I've sessioned so many SNL clips and I have to say she is now one of my favourite comic actresses going. Wait why am I still typing this I need to check her IMDb and see what else she has been in!
